Fantastic game by the Lions... Give this team the green jersey and be done with it

Feel the same. Realistically 'tho, is there a number 2 you'd select ahead of Marks, a 6 ahead of Kriel, an 8 (and captain) ahead of Whiteley? That front row is something else's as well. 9, 10 and 18 are selecting themselves, and for me, so are 13 and 15. 10 of my squad of 23 can only be Lions... Oh, and I'd argue a couple of others if I have to. ;)

Very good game in the wet. Don't know if the Blues sucked that badly or the Lions caught a wake up from the Hurricanes match but beautiful handling in action.

How was that "tackle" on Deysel not dangerous???

His hips were beyond the horizontal and he was driven into the ground head first. Red card.

That that injury inducing tackle was not even looked at by this ref ......... ja, he's known for his clueless bs is all I'll say. Disgusting play.

Ref blows the Jaguars for being in front of the kicker ......... then says to the Jaguar player I can allow 1 or 2 in front but that was 5. Are you being real or wtf :wtf:

Sharks dodged a bullet. Were monstered up front and lost just about every stat except the one that matters. Was a grind.

That has got to be the most criminal and inept and disgusting display of 'refereeing' I've seen yet. How this arsehole keeps his job I don't know.

GG with his arse about face changes again almost costing us another game. The clown will never learn.

Bwahaha, 2 wrong again this weekend, seems to be my streak for the entire season

Pumas Creevy and Senatore cited after loss to Sharks

Argentina captain Creevy was cited for a dangerous tackle on Sharks flanker Jean Deysel that resulted in the bruising loose forward being carried off on a stretcher.

Senatore was cited after SANZAAR officials reviewed match footage and determined the 32-year-old flanker had appeared to have bitten Sharks loose forward Keegan Daniel during a ruck in the 69th minute.

hmm..

Creevy has been banned for a week.

I say the ref allowed the crowd to get to him and was **** scared to red him on the field.

about time this shyte ref got cited too ..... he ran the game his way, ignoring red card incidents, allowing all manner of illegal play at rucks and scrums and giving tries that weren't.

A SANZAAR Judicial Hearing has found Leonardo Senatore of the Jaguares guilty of contravening Law 10.4 (m) Acts contrary to good sportsmanship - Biting, after he was cited during a Super Rugby match at the weekend.

In their finding, the Judicial committee ruled the following:

"Having conducted a detailed review of all the available evidence, including all camera angles and additional evidence, including from the player and submissions from his legal representative, Stephan Weyers, the Judicial Committee upheld the citing under Law 10.4(m) acts contrary to good sportsmanship - biting.

With respect to sanction the Judicial Committee deemed the act of foul play merited a low-end entry point of 12 weeks. The Judicial Committee then added 2 weeks for aggravation as this was the player’s second offence for biting. However, taking into account mitigating factors including the player’s good character, his playing record and his disciplinary record the Judicial Committee reduced the suspension to a period of ten weeks.”

So 10 weeks for biting a player? Reduced from 14 weeks because the player has a good character? Wtf does that mean? 2nd time he's bitten someone but he's got a good character so reduced sentence? Maybe playing professional rugby makes him hungry? I find his sentence somewhat light.

Maybe the first time he didn't use a knife and fork or keep his elbows off the table...

Wasps are preparing to deliver another bold statement of their intent to be a consistent European force by signing Willie le Roux, the South Africa international, to join their galaxy of back-line stars for next season.

Le Roux, a full back with 34 caps, is understood to have agreed a deal with Wasps and he could retire from international rugby to join the club, who have already recruited Danny Cipriani and Kurtley Beale.

The 26-year-old, a world player of the year nominee in 2014, would be a like-for-like replacement for Charles Piutau, the New Zealand full back, who is joining
