I can only speculate that the Cheetahs are going to have a very expansive game-plan.
There's also been a lot of talking going on about Robert and his abilities, size and making the step up to Super Rugby. 90% of the people are already putting him down as a failure. All because they think he is too small, lacks physicality or simply won't be able to make the step up.
I say: "Watch this space".
Robert is one of the few young stars that, IMO, was managed correctly.
He was never rushed into Super Rugby. The decision to let him play 7's for a year - whether it was his choice or a management choice- was a very good one.
And I think the injury last year during the Currie Cup was a blessing in disguise. Gave him more time to reflect on his goals and get hungry for rugby. Also spending some much needed time in the gym.
