There are more Lions supporters than Cheetahs, so I would be quiet if I were you![]()
Its a pity the ref fakked a really good final. Why was a neutral ref not chosen for this game. A ref from Australia or New Zealand could have been chosen. A local ref will always have doubters and favourtism. The ref was clearly out of his depth and was overwhelmed by the occasion. He should have been man of the match. He clearly favoured the bulls form the kick-off. It was evident from the start of the match. The game was 50-50.The bulls used the ball better and played on the stormers mistakes. The stormers played with more thrust, but were clearly halted by the refs dillissional decisions right through the game. The game could have gone either way. Out referring standards have dropped badly.
Only reason that is, is because half of them didn't understand correctly when it was announced the Lions hold the new record for most losses in a season. The stopped reading at new record...
At least I know the Cheetahs are 90% of the people's 2nd team. Maybe rpm will add that poll for next year. Who do you support when your team is not playing? Your 2nd team?

Seconds? If I wanted sloppy seconds after the BULLS I'd call up Amor.
I won't even touch that with a 10-foot pole.![]()
I can't watch it with sound (my speakers blew out) Did the wistle not go before Louw dotted it down? (I am not saying it did! It was a comment I read on the rugby365 site).
Currie cup starts next monthYou just made me run off to replay it on my recorder!Whistle went approx 1.5 - 2 seconds after Louw dotted it down. I used the on-screen game timer to judge, so not very scientific.
Anyway, time to look to the Boks now. Feels like it might be another anticlimax with all the goings on this week. And why the heck don't Matfield, Bekker, JaqueF, Roussouw, etc have their feet up this week, in SA?!
Nice debating with some of you guys. We can be on the same side for a while and resume the arguments next year.![]()

Yes, but that'll probably be a different thread.
Suppose most arguments/comments will be:
"My team lost 'cos we have so many Boks that aren't playing in the CC".
...or:
"My team won, despite having so many Boks that aren't playing in the CC"
...or:
"It was the ref's fault, he doesn't deserve to be blowing in the CC"
...or:
"Just wait for the Super 15....."
EDIT: Last point! At least the Stormers won the poll on this thread! Well done boys! Quick close the poll!![]()

that's so rich coming from the squeely team and supporters who lay into Graig Joubert after the S14 final ....... sommer through the media and allSore losers that try to make other teams out to be the ones who moan when it's them.

Not to be rude, but I personally did not hear many stormers supporters complaining. I heard a lot of other people that supported the Stromers because their own teams were knocked out, complain though.
But I agree with you that it was not very classy from Schalk and Allister.
Interesting to read about these so called supporters discussing their "second teams". How pathetic, but I suppose typical of these types of supporters. Always have a back up in case your first choice team fails. I only support one provincial team.
