Try downloading an older / other version of KIES. Apparently that works for some. I don't use KIES at all, so don't really know...

2e recovery is a modified Recovery loader that allows you to flash unsigned ZIP files. If you did the 3BP fix I did you should be OK. You only need it in order to flash CWM... Once you have CWM everything should be pretty straight forward.

Just got my Galaxy,very nice phone.
Now to spend some time and see what it can do,quality not as bad as i thought.
Now i have to sell my Wave:cry:
 
i got twitter, but it doesnt seem to update automatically, i have to scroll down on the tweet page so that it refreshes and then only gets new tweets
 
XWJPA is pretty laggy hey? Or do I need to give the phone time to calm down first?

Why did you flash JPA? I flashed JPO and applied the No RFS, EXT4/a lag fix under ULF in CWM. My phone has been flying along since then. Haven't noticed even a slight hiccup in scrolling or opening apps. It's even very usable while apps are busy installing, which is a great feat considering the utter uselessness during the same on Eclair...

Um, some bloke earlier said he flashed JPA so I foolishly followed suit. No worries, I will download JPO now.

I also just got my mine. Got it today during lunch quickly. They had no iPhones but this will definately do until I buy one iPhone 5 next year when it is released but like I said this will definately work for now.
 
Can someone please post some links where we can download Andriod apps.

Any resolutions you know of?

Not the Samsung apps, use the 'market' as there are literally thousands.

My Samsung Galaxy S just went in :/

it wouldn't charge anymore for whatever reason !!! :( now im stuck with a black berry!

And they said it can take from 2 weeks, if its minor, to 6 months if its major. How can they keep your phone for 6 months! they should give me a new one dammit, one month old and ya :/
