Wasnt it absolutely awesome to see the those cheating Aussie fskers finally get punished for their unsportsmanlike way of playing?

That grubber which led to Victor's try was flippin fantastic.

Now I JUST WANT TO KNOW. DO those idiots that attacked Morne Steyn last week still think now it was just the ideal conditions for him, that it was a lucky draw? No "Sir" admit it was your own idiotic bias for your own team player that had the best of YOU. Your absence posting here today shows it all. As a stern Sharks supporter, I again state that Morne' was again brilliant as a "SPRINGBUCK" and leave it at that. Another record and close encounter with the Jannie De Beer's own record. Take that if you can.

Anyway, Just wonder about PDV tactics, Take off F. Steyn to be replaced by Ruaan Pienaar and concede a try and then Take of the beast and the scrum collapse? Wow, could have cost us the game.

Steyn for me had a shocker and needed to be replaced, he had a terrible game, i lost count of how many times i screamed PASS THE FING BALL!!!!!!!!!

Not his day, the beast was injured i think.

So in 2 starts for morne steyn he has broken records, most points against the all blacks, most against the aussies, most points in a tri nations game.

Morne you are a bloody legend in the making!!!!!!!!!

Let's not forget broussouw and the other hard working players who put in a supreme effort.

I hope they ban that matt F$%^er for 8 weeks because he was not even looking at ball, he just wanted to hurt fourie. rugby is mans game and not for sissies but sadly what he did was not rugby. Should have the sent the Fer off.

We need 1 more win from 3 games plus at least 1 bonus point to secure this year's Tri-Nations!

IIRC, the last game is against the All Blacks at Hamilton under lights. This is normally a very "wet", low scoring game and we should get at least a bonus point there.

/I posted this on Ruan vs Morne thread but for a different reason!

Morne Steyn also didn't have his best game to be honest - he kicked one or two kicks out on the full which gave the advantage back to Australia. Also he kicked the up-and-unders too many times - couldn't he see that JP Pieterson was awfully slow and wasn't anywhere near getting the ball?

As long as he maintains his goal-kicking accuracy, he must play!!!

In Test rugby you need to accept and convert every single point on offer.

I think Du Preez kicked to many up and unders in the 2nd half.
JP did pretty well against NZ, so we can keep him.

Lets not mention the Aussie flyhalfs game...

Look i think morne does kick a bit too much but i also think that puts the other team under a lot of pressure. You do have a good point about pieterson not getting there, it would be far better to have habana chasing but at the end of the day morne came through again with his kicking and i thought we played well even if a couple guys did not have their best game, it shows our class when francious can have one his worst games i have ever seen and we will dominate a team.

We dominated the aussies to the point of them feeling the only way they could win was by decapitating our players :D, fourie just got up shook his head and carried on hahaha, what a legend :D

I was very impressed though because we had played 2 hard games in a row and the aussies had a long break so we maintained very well i thought.

I am not going to moan and say this player did this and that player did that, we won the game and dominated the aussies as we did against the all blacks so i am happy with the team. The real test comes now to see if we are really the best in the world.

True :p...although I really think he should have got a red card - on the replays you can see that not only was he blatantly trying to decapitate du Preez, but the ball ended up behind him (Giteau) so clearly he was not trying to compete for the ball at all. Hopefully he gets cited...

Only South Africa gets red cards and bans for these type of things .......

To be honest it was a shocking game of rugby, almost as boring as F1. Far too much kicking from both teams but in particular from SA.

It was Fourie Du Preez doing all the blind side kicking for JP to chase (well 90% of it). This was obviously the tactic. kick and chase kick and chase, bloody ugly but very effective.

Morne's boot was once again the difference, in fact we lost the trie count 2-1, quite alarming that against 13 for 8 minutes we only managed 3 pts.

I thought the Boks were pretty ordinary and considering that, that they still managed to win and so comfortably is ominous for their opponents.

So they've beaten the Lions, AB and OZ all within a couple of months and have the tri-nations pretty much wrapped up. Mathematically I can't see how they can lose it from here. Very impressive season and add to that the RWC of 2007 and this could be regarded as the greatest Springbok side since readmission and possibly history...

Poor centres almost never received the ball :o

Sadly rugby is not always about pretty play, i did not find it boring at all.

Well of course we can lose it, if we lose all 3 games and pick up no bonus points overseas and the all black win their remaining games and pick a couple bonus points we lose but yea it does look like out tournament though.

I knew it would go down like this ........... wonder where all those people that say we're mad to think that there is some sort of IRB vendetta against the Springboks, are now huh.

We will see soon when all the pissy's (OZ/AB) cry when the boks' beat them at home.

PS: That is if we do not play 16 men opposition teams again as usual abroad..

I am not starting to believe that meph.

I cannot farking believe bakkies got 2 weeks for nothing and matt who was looking to decapitate fourie gets off.

He did not even have his eyes on the ball, he had one thing in mind and it was not rugby :(.

Got to admit the inconsistency.

Can't SA 'cite' him?...what is the process?
