You two are f_cking morons plain and simple!

We never lead this game! How the fsuk it is then the fault of the replacements I have no idea. Go back to watching little girls play hopscotch. You are more qualified for that it seems.

With them on we were still in contention for a bonus point after the replacements the Springbok game was leaderless and in shambles. I called that exact point in an earlier post and the Idiot PDV did exactly the same again.

Like I said in the other thread...A great coach is Robbie Deans who takes on a young, inexperienced team and beats the boks. Then there is a coach like PdV. He inherits a perfect team BUT replace his captain, three key players like Matfield, Habana and Botha then your will realise PdV is NOTHING.

If I'm not mistaken it's 1 point...I'm sure I heard the commentators say we needed a solitary point to take the Tri Nations.

I hope so as I see some difficulty ahead. The AB have DAn Carter and some other key players back. We must loose at least with a bonus point then which we could have had today.

What you expect. PDV knows F_All about tactical replacements.

Robbie Deans is so AWESOME. I really loved his stats in the Tri Nations this year. A whole 1 game won!!!

He is so much better than PDV.

Blame whoever you like, the Aussies played far better rugby than we did today. They deserved that win and we're lucky the deficit wasn't larger. There was absolutely no cohesion within the team, and I have to state that Ruan is not a fullback's ass. He was permanently undecided and it was like carrying extra baggage within the team.

I see everyone is jumping on to the "blame the ref" angle again, but even with a decent ref, we'd have lost the way we played today. The Aussies beat us at the breakdown (hands down) which stuffed our game plan up, we then lost the scrums (although to be honest, the ref was hardly giving those a shot), we made stupid mistakes on the few occasions that we had attacking opportunities and even our lineouts were some of the worst I've seen so far.

Our only 'saving grace' from a positive perspective was our centre pairing who are always consistently good, but that's not going to win us a Tri-Nations match on its own. You can blame the ref all you like, but we lost that game without his help...

You obviously have a very limited knowledge of the game. Have a look at it in context. You WILL eat your words during the next 24 months.

My major point of contention still is that Giteau should never have been playing this game - he should have been cited and banned for 6 weeks minimum for that horror tackle on Fourie Du Preez...

Then wake up and look where was some of his key players. Then look at what he has done. Replace the a large proportion of his team to strenthen the team tactically for running rugby and You see the result. We did not loose this game WE WERE FSUCKING THRASHED! reduced to waste.

I have limted knowledge of the game? WoW - because i support my national coach in one post on this board, you can tell i have a limited knowledge of the game?

Have a look at what in contect? PDV has won the Lions, he THRASHED the ALL Blacks back to back. Humilated the Ozzies in Perth. He loses his first game today and you tell me he isnt good enough?

Grow a brain!

Absolutely. The team was sent into the match with the wrong mindset and game plan. They allowed the Aussies to pressure them. It was a no-win from then on.

Fully agreed. Only Sir! would differ on that point. I think the most yards won in the second half is when FS fell on his ass and even in that motion he did better than Ruaan in the whole of the game. Its also very hard to come in the game in the last 10 minutes.

The coach sent them in with the wrong game plan. It was too elementary an error to be acceptable at this level. Yes, the team he inherited has brought him this far, but it will require far more. He has done nothing exceptional unless you consider inheritance exceptional.

PdV's stuck between a rock and a hard place with some people. Stuffed if you do, stuffed if you don't. The results speak for themselves and he has that far in his favour. I can't believe after all this time and after our winning streak, people still bash the guy. He deserves the bashing for his "off-the-field" antics, but he's certainly doing something right considering our results - that doesn't just "happen" without a coach...

WTF is everybody hogging on this inheritance issue? You can inherit the best 15 players on planet rugby, that does not mean they will win.

If that were the case, then the All Blacks would have won every single competitive match and won all the World Cups.

Do you people know how insanely ridiculous it sounds saying that the only reaosn why he is winning is because he inherited a team?

Again look at who played in those teams during those wins and look today and the next two weeks. PDV have lots to prove now. Lets see if he can work out Dan Carter and the AB's and present a competing team.

What do you have against PDV? How can you be so negative when it was his first loss?

Sigh... 24 hours ago we were the best. Four games dominated in a row. PdV was awesome. Eitherthing was just ****ing great. Now with in 80mins we are reduced to trash. No man please. Please grow the **** up. Or don't support sport. And please FFS stop licking White's arse.

Er... clearly you haven't been following some of the other threads. I've been complaining about de Villiers for weeks now.

Btw, if you can't have a concise and mature discussion without resorting to a series of explicatives people really aren't going to take you posts seriously. Please try to act your age and not your shoe size in these threads.

One time's bonus a point and it would have been virtually impossible to lose the Trinations.

Though I am still worried about what happened to Habana - he was definitely making the most effort out of the whole squad before his disappearing act.
