we gave it away at the bit there giving up 12 points. But very satisfying 5 point win.

Also better to give away a bonus point against Oz as opposed to the ABs

But very satisfying 7 point win - Fixed this for you ;)

Oops, thought 32 - 25 to SA = 7 points :o

Nice win .................. although a few things are still very apparent -

1) We need proper cover for 4 and 5 (Bekker is too lightweight)
2) Spies still has brainfart days where he consistently does doff things
3) A lot of our end-of-game replacements (read: Chilliboy and Januarie) are just not Bok material.
4) The Ruan at 15 thing failed .... he's not comfortable there at all.
5) Bryce is still a one-eyed idjit
6) Morne needs to work on commiting to tackles, not just this laying on of a hand thing.

Trouble is those two are pretty much irreplaceable. Cannot think of who would be a better bet unfortunately. In Bekker's defence he did pick up an injury just after coming on.

Hmm, but he is often brilliant off the base of the scrum. He seems to always get us on the front foot. That up and under miss was just one mistake I can think of off hand.

Trouble is, without making this too political, do you notice the common denominator there? Unfortunately it seems we need to bring them on the satisfy some people. The trouble is most of them do not even watch the game and just see we win with them on the field and then say obviously they are good!

4) The Ruan at 15 thing failed .... he's not comfortable there at all.

I thought Ruan did nothing wrong.... in fact as I am typing this Naas just discussed it and said that he felt Ruan had a good game at fullback and did nothing wrong. I still think he needs a position where he gets more involved. He has Giteau like abilites and they are wasted all the way at the back.

5) Bryce is still a one-eyed idjit

Still not sure what he was doing in the scrums. It seemed he decided he was going to penalise who ever was on the one side of the field when it came to scrums. "If you are playing left to right then we'll penalise you if the scrum goes down".

6) Morne needs to work on commiting to tackles, not just this laying on of a hand thing.

Wish I didn't have to agree here as most will assume it is just me being me but I do agree. Again Giteau gets through that channel way too easy. And on two occasions it was Morne who was in the vicinity. He does not like tackling hard! He will get in the way only. Anyway I'll not say more about him as we have covered it all before. He left a few points on the field today too....

They need to realise that there are other 'players of colour' (their stupid words, I see only green in Springbok games) ..... that Heinie chap from the Bulls for instance, he is much better than Januarie.

And I don't mean to say Ruan had a bad game, he didn't, but it's just very apparent that he prefers the 9 or 10 position.

Ruan done fine in my opinion. Remember this was his first game at fullback in a long time, and it was all at a very high pace. Not bad at all.

Great game I missed the best part i.e. the first half, second half was scary we nearly let them back in.

Go bokke!

Sir? no comments.

Wow i am so glad to see people not picking on the small little things that happened in today's game.

What a win!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go Bokke. He is not wannabe coach though but when your team makes the kind of mistakes the aussies made today you would look sheepish as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game but the timing on the audio wasn't good.

It was a split second or so ahead of the play. Matt Pearce was calling the try as a player got his hands on the ball.

Still they're looking great for the cup! :D

Proves that the problem originated with SuperSport and not at the broadcast source. I mean, throughout the entire game they couldn't detect the error, or even apologize for it? Pathetic!
