For wearing green and gold jerseys.

Same as the citing debacles.
That pretty much sums it up, yip...

The point is Bryce was all over us all the time. Whenever the Ozzies were in control of the ball he was barking instructions at us, leave it green, roll away green, onside green, you're off your feet green. When we were carrying up the ball nothing. Perhaps we not as disciplined as the ozzies...

Then the he started blowing us up in the scrums. Wouldn't reset the scrum or issue warning, just full penalty every time, about 5 or 6.

We conceded twice as many penalties as we usually do against OZ in this test.

So... you draw your own conclusions...

That bunch tend to stick together so you'll hardly ever hear a referee's performance getting questioned by the refereeing "bosses". Not a surprising response really.

The rest of the report disclosing what we were supposedly doing in the scrums would make for far more interesting reading.

I always believed that we do poorly in NZ/OZ because of unfair decissions. It's quiet notable that when we outplay those teams and disrupt their game patern then suddenly the whistle starts going against us. It would be nice to see stats on how many games we lost in the second half and the penalties against us during the first and then second half of those games.

Maybe just my perception but usually when we are not ahead by a marginn during half time then I am most concerned about losing the game for the same reasons.

Capiche!

It's great to see that the bickering on this thread has abated somewhat today!!

We have a common cause: Supporting the Boks to the 2009 Tri-Nations title TODAY!!!

Hopefully our cause will be better served with a northern hemisphere ref (Wayne Barnes) who will apply the laws consistently.

I'm here! Let's start. Where is Penguin?!?!

ha ha ha just teasing! GO BOKKE! And although this is a trinations thread, I need to say it : GO BAFANA!

Hopefully our cause will be better served with a northern hemisphere ref (Wayne Barnes) who will apply the laws consistently.

I never thought I would hear the day when we'd be happier with a Northern hemisphere ref but it's true. It seems since we have started whipping their asses the Aussie and Kiwi refs are not the best to have refereeing our matches anymore....

All I look for is consistency.

Any idea on the weather today - hot and humid?

Put in your predictions with your next post.

I think it is going to be closer than the past weeks.
We will be missing JP on the wing... EDIT: I expect lots of kicking behind Ndungane. Pienaar will have to cover a lot of ground today.
Scrums will be better this time around.
Forwards will dominate the Ozzies again.
Du Preez to have another stunner.

Boks 24 - 19 Aus

Well moggie we need to unite today, regardless of anything the main thing is a bokke win and not another 49-0 drubbing

This time we dish out the beating i hope :D

O shyte thanx apoc forgot my superbru prediction today thanx.

tight, like above, but I reckon a bit lower scoring ...... it's gonna be a battle :D

24-19

Nah, bugger a battle! We are going to smoke them! We had them staggering against the ropes last week, this we we are going to go in for the knock out blow! Everything will come together this week.

And Ndungane will be fine under the high ball. He will also be keen to show what he can do on attack too.

I reckon we give them stick today... how much... umm... let's go with 43-12 (tempted to go higher with that score of ours!)
