Lol, I know Heini Adams is miles better than januarie... come to think maybe bring sephaka back he would be a better scrummie than Januarie.
I never said its not a great team, I stated that we lost because OZ "fixed" their team and PDV did not respond with the best decissions on how to beat them. Some ook's keep on missing the point. The same can be asked of YOU, if we loose are we then still the greatest team? or God forbid, if we loose the tri-nations? What will your excuse be?

The Aussies are actually a pretty good team, their losses wern't that bad in this series.
Before the Tri Nations started they were rated higher than us.
I saw their warmup games and they were pretty good.
Yes but remember by penguins logic 1/5 wins > 4/5 wins.......![]()

That is your logic, you have nothing to say so just harper on the same point. But i am patient and know not every kid in the block was issued with the same intelect.
Outcomes based education FTW!

O come on you were telling us how the Aussies were the better team after last weekend... Im sure I can quote you on that more than once .....
ROFL![]()
They are now the better team untill proven wrong, so we will see in the next OZ test Saturday next.
Therefore my statement that the changes Dean made was the reason we lost the last test match and not per se' the way the boks played. You only look as good as you are allowed to by the competition. IMHO it was rather the idiotic PDV that called the wrong shots and the fact that Fourie was neutralized by illegal unsighted tactics. But anyway some id'..s may think differently than me so instead of giving reasons and facts they harper on the same old statisticall FUD and try and make a mockery of all facts giving by me, pitbull and others but no matter we are grown-up Boks supporters and we know where they come from.![]()
We have been in the same situation as the Aussies before, well a few times.
I don't know if you remeber Carel du Plessis' last game in charge.
Sometimes a team just gets itself together and kicks some butt.
Lets see how the do against the AB's.
I don't quite follow... He didn't really do anything extraordinary in this test in relation to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. In fact one of the fundamental sources of our success this year has been continuity in team selection (few injuries), continuity in our game plan which is kick and chase/hope and as shown in the 4th game of the series the ability to diversify our strategy and game plan which we did with quite stunning efficiency(32-13 up with 10 minutes to play, it was a hiding).IMHO it was rather the idiotic PDV that called the wrong shots
Let me shock and surprise you with another stat.:erm: You are having that maths problem again... even if the beat NZ in the last game that gives them 2/6...
We have already won 4.....
So we were / are the better team in the tri nations.
Let me shock and surprise you with another stat.
We won the 2004 Tri-nations after winning 2/4 games by virtue of a single bonus point, so 50% win ratio was enough to win the competition that year. WD JAKE!!!
This season 80% (4/5) win ratio and it's still going down to the last 2 fixtures!!!!! but to be honest it's game set and match SA...
NZ are dreaming if they think they going to win it from here. Mathematically they have a shot but if I had a millions bucks I would bet on the Boks taking it from here...

Perhaps it was idiotic of him to play Ruan at fullback but I suspect it's more Dick persisting with Ruan and trying to find a position for him in the starting 15 than it is PDV seeing as Dick is the Natal coach and the back line coach.. But that's been the only change!!!
So I don't follow all the idiotic wrong shots he's been calling.
As already explained Jacobs come on for an injured Habana, Steyn couldn't as he would be subbing Ruan late in the 2nd half, a decision probably taken a week before kick off. Danie and Schalk came on for Brussouw and Bakkies as they always do. Fresh legs, super sub, call it what you want, it's taken for granted as a standard, widely used tactic...
If the Boks have a weakness it's the inability to adapt to how a ref on any particular day blows the game. The ambiguity of how the laws/rules are interpreted by varying refs from varying hemispheres is proving to be the biggest challenge facing the Boks, this team and every team since post isolation so it's not a coach specific problem.
We forever blame the ref cause we never able to adapt where the Ozzies and NZlanders can. They just cleverer than our lads. That's the hard, honest truth...
Jip I know and I repeat that to all the JW fan boys
And I really think if we beat NZ on saturday we will have proven we are the top team this year... but still beating them 3/3 times iis going to be hard.
