Why can we not beat them a third time? We are the best not? All I am saying is that the same scenario is playing itself out again, If we loose the Tri-Nations we will forever deserve the label of chokers!

I think you have your sports mixed up.
Your posts are starting to make more sense now.

The issue with Ruaan was problem 1
Hopefully Dick has learnt from his mistake
The issue of "forced" non required replacements during the second half and far too late to make an impact is number two
The score was 9-6 when the subs were made. They were made for that very point, to make an impact and influence the outcome of the game. Bakkies carried a stomach strain into this game so his substitution and Habanas were probably forced. Schalks tactical...
The fact that the game plan does not change when we see it is failing is number three
Again refer point 2, 9-6 down after 65 minutes the game plan was not failing but in any event subs introduced to influence the game plan and the outcome of the game.
Having excess baggage on the bench is number four.
So is the lack of depth also PDV's fault?
point is we now have it harder to beat NZ who now are going all out to try and nail us in the scrum, also they have much more confidence seeing how the wannaby's outplayed us. Then we have the possibility to rely on OZ to play well against NZ and deny them any bonus point.
Winning the tri-nations is tougher than winning the world cup...
This scenario changed in one single game from where it was ours to loose the Tri-nations to one that we will have to fight on Saturday to win. We should strive to win the game first and then the rest will fall in place.
We've won 4/5 meneer. We've done more than enough to decide or own fate. Pity OZ hasn't been a little more competitive. Had they won that game instead of losing it 19-18 against NZ we would be the winners already but winning 80% of our fixtures is already ample... don't panic...

Lol, wanted to say Smith and smit might sound almost identical but its different teams... We are not chokers winning 50% of the World Cups we have competed in.....

Also Tiger woods is the best golfer to date why doesn't he win it every time?

The Aussie team rate nr 1 in tests for something like 5 years... they also lost a couple...

Not really, I am noy lance... I mean Cantera. Its actually very simple. I tried to make head of why WE the champs (not chimps) lost the test against OZ. I blame PDV and stated that the reason we lost was due to the changes Deans made to the team, not becuase we suddenly sucked. Thats a fact. Some did not like the fact that I state Deans outflanked PDV.

Anyway we will see what Saturday brings.

Chokers??!! We've won 2 out of 4 contested RWC's!! How is that choking?

It was just a bad day for us.
It happens...

There we go again. I said that IF WE LOOSE THIS TRI-NATIONS!
So we win 4/6 fixtures, 66% of the games but lose the tri-nations and therefore have choked???

Me thinks it will have been OZ that have choked cause for us to lose the tri-nations NZ will have to beat them at home by 40 points...:)

We've already done enough to win this tri-nations. As earlier stated there is a mathematical possibility of NZ taking it but not even Deans wannabys are that s h i t... They'll hold NZ out in the final fixture...

What Boks need to secure trophy

http://www.supersport.com/rugby/article.aspx?id=315315&headline=What%20Boks%20need%20to%20secure%20trophy

Here are some possible scenarios for Saturday:

1. Boks win = Boks win Tri-Nations

2. All Blacks win without try scoring bonus and Boks pick up bonus = Boks win Tri-Nations

3. All Blacks win 21-6 and thus pick up four points and Boks none = All Blacks need bonus and nine-point win against Australia.

4. All Blacks win 30-10 and pick up five points, Boks none = All Blacks just need to win next week.

What's all the fuss about? We are going to thump the All Blacks, aren't we?

Thanks for the clarification. Maybe some would now realise or see that the Tri-Nations is all but NOT yet in the bag. We will see early Saturday morning.
Yeah, we are going to thump them, are we? My heart say so but my mind speaks a scary language. We thought we are going to win the Wannaby's and look what it brought us?

Some funny posts while i was gone :D

Particularly liked the team suddenly will be known as ''chokers'' :D

Penguin has another Agenda. He hates PDV and everything about him. This debate is getting boring. How can any SANE person think that the Boks must win every game they play? If they make a mistake and lose, suddenly they are dirt in his eyes.

Boks will win the Tri-Nations and when they do, i wonder if Penguin will admit that he was wrong all along and PDV pulled us through.
