Trinations champions. Thanks to the players. Thanks to the brilliant coaching staff, lead by the brilliant Peter De Villiers who managed to do it with ease. No need to rely on other teams to win it for us!

Didn't really matter anyway by then.... NZ needed a four try bonus point and needed us to not get a bonus point for finishing within 7, so we had it anyway.

Glad we won it properly though otherwise we would not have silenced many of the critics. Although I am sure we still won't... ;)
 
Again the Boks run out of puff but hold out in the end to win 32-29. The cross kicks need to be better policed by the refs and line judges. McCaw was miles offside when he scored at the end (caught it standing still) and same with the last cross-kick that ended the match.

What a team, surely the greatest ever. Smit was my man of the match.

Of course not - we're a bunch of boring kickers, killing the spirit of the game etc etc. Pah, a win's a win. You do what it takes. Our first win ever in Hamilton.
 
That was awesome. Our BEST against their NZ's best and look at the result. At the end I was worried but NZ's timing missed. Great UP for PDV to be brave enough to select the BEST starting squad and hold of with any replacements to the end.

In Simple terms Lance, Spell the names of the TWO Steyns Please! and relegate in your mind Ruaan to the bench. Capiche.

Yeah, The ref calling today was atrocious at best but i am glad the Boks could overcome that irritation. As I said before the Ref cannot blow up tries and overall good performance.
