Yes, Webafrica has fibre only packages.

So vox says no and AH says no it wont, but i'm assuming they just say that so that you don't do that and rather take more services with them.

Then it's either:
1. Vox messing up
a) your region is congested
b) routing is messed up
2. Telkom's switch which is doing the hand-over is messed up (this happened to one dude on Afrihost).
Above can be disproved by using another IS provider.

Hi, recently purchased the 100gb adsl account to test the new SACS cable routing with Vox. I saw a user post a traceroute to 187.120.30.6 and it showed the new cable routing with 100ms to Fortazela. I did the same traceroute with the Vox account and it worked: 98ms from Cape Town to BR.

Unfortunately I do not see this routing being used for gaming or general use applications (with games like League of legends to Brazil server latency currently showing 350ms when I expected to see around 110-130ms).

Is the SACS cable routing not fully operational or is this a case-by-case basis with new addresses being allocated the routing?

I experience the same thing. The ping works excellently, but seems to not use the route for other applications. I expect it's still be configured and tested.

Complain to Vox not here and see if they fix it.

Tip time - if you go to the Vox portal and try to sign in with the OTP then just give someone's phone number and you will get their email address if they a Vox account.

Sure they try to block out some part of the domain but it's very easy to work out.
