Merry Christmas to all

Good day

Apologies for this. Please send us your account number so that we can forward this onto accounts to assist

Hmmm.

I noticed today I can update my billing details online in the customer zone. Finally! I may have missed it earlier, because I only log in once a month to do a manual payment, since I refuse to update the details over the phone or email.

Thank you VOX.

Morning Voxy,

Are you guys experiencing upstream issues today? I've been seeing this:

Good morning

There are no major issues at present. I'll have our core team double check for any issues.

MY father phoned vox sales today, and they tell him that they no longer sell the uncapped bolt-on. Even though they are still advertising it on their website.
Is this not false advertising? He signed up to the fat pipe because of my recommendation, and because he wanted the uncapped-bolt on.
Phoned vox myself and I get told that there are no sales as everyone is on leave. Really upset with vox atm.

They removed bolt-on product a few months ago from their website already. Where do you still see it?

It's still in the description of the Fatpipe Lite product here (https://www.voxtelecom.co.za/bus-adsl-capped) and here (https://www.voxtelecom.co.za/fat-pipe-lite) and possibly other places too. I mentioned this in a Vox thread a week or two ago. Kevin and his dad have a right to be annoyed at the misleading description.

Edit: In my opinion the honourable thing for Vox to do would be to allow anyone signing up to Fatpipe Lite to have the bolt-on up until they get round to correcting the grossly misleading description on their web site at which point any new subscriber would be being given an accurate description of the service that they were subscribing to and so couldn't reasonably expect to be able to get the bolt-on any more.

HI KevinSwan

The bolt-on product is no longer available for purchase. This does not affect existing bolt-on customers though. I've already asked our webmasters to amend the advertising.

I do apologise for the confusion here. I've spoken to the sales team as well and I can assure you that they are in business. You can contact them on 087 805 0003.

My father was thinking of moving his whole adsl line and data over to vox after I told them about the great products and service.
Well thats no more, he will be looking elsewhere.
It takes 10 minutes to change text on a website.

So I dropped Afrihost, OpenWeb and WebAfrica in the past year. Moved over to VOX, but must say I have expected more.

Okay, confession time. Line speed rules! http://netgauge.ookla.com/share/356330765.png

But other than the the service is okayish. I must say that I signed up on the 24th of the month. That was easy enough and got my account details after WebAfrica screwed up my accounts and screwed me out of R298.

P2P gets full speed some times. I failed yesterday to get a Windows 7 ISO from Microsoft (windows 10 does not work well on her notebook)

Had a few buffers on YouTube last night (23H00 - 01H00)
Don't know if it is line related but loosing connection. Even replaced my router, but still getting disconnections.

After signing up I have no way to move my line from Telkom to Vox. Or rather there is no easy way of doing that. But other than that I am happy with the service I am getting.

As long as I don't try to do a online game in Project cars, it is fine. Have yet to try COD AW online.

Do not move your line from Telkom
