Official Vox DSL feedback thread

It is probably just Cape Town again, they appear to think we are so laid back we don't really need internet so why should they bother maintaining it?

Or you can be optimistic and believe they are fixing something before the weekend and your internet will then be better than ever...:D

Or the converse... moving us off the nice Data-Pro Business backbone back into the cheapseats now that SEACOM is functional again.

My Vox account is also down, I had switch to my Telkom Internet account and this is working fine at the moment. Tried calling Vox customer support on 087 805 0530 and getting a lady telling me the code I dialed is no longer in service or not valid can't remember thought I dialled wrong the first two times. I am also in Cape Town, and my friend who lives a few roads away wasn't able to connect to Vox since last night. I told him it was related to the national outage, but now I am not so sure.

Vox just gone down for me. Johannesburg.

Edit:nvm it's my line..

Overview & Daily usages also not updating this weekend
(posted same note in Fatpipe thread, even though I have Bolt-on which is no longer answered by Vox / @voxy).

Good morning all,

We are aware of of issues in the South but they wont effect our services as all the users should be on the beach or surfing.

If anyone in the North complains we will wake up one of our engineers who will continue to monitor the stability of the services but do nothing about it.

Regards,
Foxy

Damn you Vox , Damn you ....!!!

costing me extra every month now it seems , cause you are greedy and over subscribed.

Really now wondering if the good savings on the Vox packages is worth keeping since i can't use the accounts .

and surprise switching to other ISP then all is Fine , so not my side. Give us Feedback and allow us to cancel without a month notice period , cause this is not what i signed up for.

Pretty sure I remember someone a few weeks back saying if you cancel before the 15th of the month you're good to go.

How do you guys know this is capacity issues?

Because they admitted it, and said extra IPC capacity was ordered and implemented, but I don't think it is active yet because no ISP has ever been able to upgrade that fast, it usually takes a couple of weeks, and Vox magically did it in couple of days.
