This option is available from the SERVICES menu under ADSL LINES (only if your ADSL line is managed by VOX).
The next page shows the Phone number of your ADSL line, along wit an option for OPTIMISE (see attached).

I just logged into the portal - I've been on a 100+100 since the initial special and happy to see it's now 400Gb a month. Is that right? I'm sitting on 1.4Tb spare. Nice. Am loving the roll-over.

Does this work. You can do it on the app as well but I am not to sure it works

Are VOX throttling NNTP downloads?

Since the 11th I've not been able to get over 1.5MB/sec via NNTP. Nothing else has changed my side. Initially figured it was a blip, or the news server. However, this is still going, and switching over to Cybersmart download speeds hit 3.1MB/sec without a problem, everything else being exactly the same.

Nope, working fine in Stellenbosch, sending and receiving whatsapp over Vox.

Seems the ADSL is now stuffed. Its a weird one. Line synched perfectly, upload speed fine, download speed nonexistent.
So its just me.

Does Vox have test accounts? I upgraded my telkom to 4meg but only getting 1.83 Mb/s download and 0.21 Mb/s upload so want to try before I buy.

Doesn't look like your line has been upgraded? Login with a Telkom guest account and run a speed test.

I have been speaking to @TelkomZA and hee also confirmed that I have been upgraded, my router even shows 4meg. Will see if I can get a different ISP guest account.
