Official Vox DSL feedback thread

hi,loged into the portal and saw i lost all my roll over data, had like 1.6TB left if i can remember right at around the 28th or so now only my monthly 500gb shows, what happend to the rest?
anyone els have this issue?

thank you

Since I had a very bad run in with their SUPER arrogant billing department I don't want a Vox account again.

Got myself an Openserve 100Mbps fibre line with Supersonic.

@Yuu Allowed me to do some tests and use some data on his 400GB Fatpipe promo that has 2.8TB of roll over data.

They still seem decent network wise.

@ILoveGames I'm sure that 237ms to Brazil with vox means sacs no? Otherwise it would have been 350ms+ or something like that?

So you can use Fat Pipe on Fibre as well? I ask because I have a 200gig Rollover and changing to fibre soon.

If you have Openserve fibre yes. You can use any adsl account. It's what makes Openserve fibre awesome. You just dial the pppoe details like you would with ADSL and you are set. You can't use it with other providers like Vumatel, Octotel, ttconnect, sadv ect ect because they don't use pppoe.

Excellent, thanks for the info. They are installing Openserve in our area.:)

 no problem

Glad I got Openserve. It is a bit more expensive than other providers but the ability to mix up a bunch of accounts and use them on the Openserve fibre line is awesome. You can even pick up a 200Mbps line only for R999 and then look for cheap deals or use the Vox fatpipe promo on it and between 00:00 and 6am it's unlimited.

Can't complain about this account even if I wanted too. The performance is just too good. Full 200Mbps speed on everything from torrents to twitch streaming it just works without any issues. 20:45pm on a Friday night and it's moving along very nicely.

Public torrent downloading is very good too. Basically full line speed.

Anyone know why Vox doesn't offer 200/200 on Octotel? They seem to be the only one I can see that doesn't offer this package.

I am a telkom adsl user but have a backup vox adsl. With the telkom problems lately I have been using vox but find that my iptv stream is not working. Go back to telkom and it works. Go back to vox and zilch. Is vox really playing big brother and want's to decide for me what to watch. I am also using a smart dns but still no go. Must still give a vpn a go.
Before I give vox the boot, is there anybody that would like to give some usefull advise.

What IPTV is not working? I have 2 IPTV accounts that I use and use them on Supersonic and Vox sometimes and they work fine.
