Came here to say I'm also struggling in CT Southern Suburbs. I actually have telkom internet but use Vox's fat pipe package. The speeds are bad whether I'm connected to Vox or Telkom.

Yeah, is strange, but it is the only service disruption mentioned by Vox support services on Twitter. Maybe it is unrelated and they just don't know about the current problem.

My VOX 40mbps connection has been like 56k dial-up since last night. On other ISP's as well (Afrihost).

Somebody dug a hole and broke something.

Internet dropped around 10-11am for about a minute and since then it's been a nightmare. (40 VDSL)

Its an ADSL line, so it isn't synchronous. Currently syncing at just under 1Mb on the upstream and 20Mb on the downstream, so that speed is correct.
