Anyone else experiencing slow download speeds this morning? Vox fatpipe 40Mb VDSL Cape Town.
Yeah, 20Mbps ADSL line crawling at 1Mbps in Cape Town area. Tried on Vox and Afrihost and have the exact same results. So must be another OpenServe problem.

Can't wait for FrogFoot to finish installing the fibre so I can be rid of OpenServe.

Yup, moertoe here in Strand also.

A pity that Frogfoot's ETA keeps on moving out all the time. Now 31 July here. But I doubt they will even make that deadline.

EDIT: Just checked that Frogfoot ETA. Now 31 Aug. That ETA was originally End of March this year. Seems they have run out of teams to service the middle income burbs.

Yup - same here in Fish Hoek - Frogfoot was originally stating build completion as the end of April, then the end of May, then the end of June - got really excited when it changed to Jul 19th - but now it's 31 Jul...... and so it goes on,,,

Openserve fibre is perfect though. :)

Have you guys seen the complaints about frogfoot. They are probably one of the cheapest but one with the most complaints

We have no choice here in Strand. They are the only supplier at the moment installing here. OpenServe don't even have our area in their plans for the next 3 years.

I'm moving to Afrihost Pure Fibre and I will have 2 X Fatpipe 400GB(Uncapped after 12pm) accounts
available @ R178.34 p/m

2.8TB of rollover data on each account.

You can pay me once off for the rollover data and take over the account.

Peace

Same here. As soon as Fibre goes live by me, it's adios Vox. Also have about 1.4TB data left with the 400GB account at R179. Performance recently have been terrible.

20mbps line running like this

Hold in there. Our complex had a "Planned, no ETA" status for over 2 years. Then one day we had a notice asking if everyone agrees to the installtion. Site still said "Planned,no ETA". Then one day they sent out a notice saying FrogFoot would be installing in the complex the following day. Suddenly we had a build completion date of 2 weeks later, which so far it looks like they may be ahead of.

This actually started yesterday already. Couldn't stream the rugby, and today it's just got worse.

Octotel is rolling out in my area in Strand.
Could barely open webpages all day today on 20Mbps VDSL.
