I'm in Bloemfontein and the Frogfoot fibre rollout has been following the same route. I think the first ETA I saw was mid April, it's been pushed back and back and back. Then I got an email for someone to book an installation for Friday 26th July, but the website still has my area live on the 31 July.

Hopefully because an install has been booked, that will be the case. Only fibre provider doing my area too, so beggars can't be choosers.
 
High ping again today starting at around 3pm . getting around 350, as soon as i start to do anything its jumps to over 500
 
Anyone else got the email for the survey where they ask people if they would pay for lower international latency?

Interesting that up until about a month ago I used to get 175-180ms to Europe, and just recently it's been a 220-230ms shitshow. Now I have to pay a premium for service that I previously just got for free? Cool stuff, man.

They just called me and they are aware of it, it seems to be in JHB somewhere.

I checked on the Afrihost site and they also have active issues in the fault tracker.
 
Did they give any indication of how long it is going to take to fix?
