You can check your invoice when you log into the portal?

It works on Openserve fibre only.

You kidding. Ai. Adsl it is then. Pity.

Yes unfortunately. If you have an Openserve fibre line of any speed you simply use your adsl fatpipe pppoe details and it will work on Openserve fibre.

Other fibre providers unfortunately does not use IPC and thus Vox has NNi with those Cable providers.

Area is getting fibre. Wanted to keep fatpipe. They have said I can't. But I've read there's guys with fat pipe on fibre on here.

Yeah I'm one of them.

Think of Openserve fibre as the exact same setup as ADSL. You can use any account on it as long as it authenticates on Openserve side. So I use it on my 200Mbps Openserve fibre line.

Jip.
About 248ms on Destiny servers(XBox), but sometimes the game is just unplayable ito lag.

In the evening I get 298-314ms on Rocket League. Tried it at around 3pm today and got about 210ms.

Not sure what the ideal latency should be here in SA, but pretty sure that's not it.

Well since wacs is down you are probably looking at 190 to 200ms to EU West servers.

If they are hosted in France 190ms os possible if the ISP in question peers in France IX.

Why is Vox the only ISP in town that has not made plans to buy bandwidth through other cable suppliers like Afrihost and others did? This has now been going on since late December, and last night my download speed on fibre was only 25% of my contract spec. And at around 350ms ping WoT is virtually unplayable.

I'm going to have to talk to Vox or move ISP, Vox always had the best latency but now pinging the same host in London with Vox is 20ms higher than Afrihost.

Everything during the break was fine for me too but a ping of over 200ms to London is unacceptable, I gave them a gap during the WACS break but I'll message them tomorrow and tell them their routing sucks.

Aaahhh gaming has other requirements. Don’t do much online anymore. One would assume with the fine upload speeds gaming would be wonderful.

The Vox live chat is broken so I had to email them so I should get a reply maybe before March.

Which VPN do you use that will improve your latency to London if I may ask?

Cloudflare.
