So I'm on the Vox 1TB Black Friday Promo account right now, and my usage is physically impossible. It claims that a couple of days ago I downloaded 70GBs in the space of about 5 hours. That's excluding upload of about 1GB.
I'm on 20Mb VDSL, so even if I was downloading at full speed (which I wasn't, the variance in the graph proves that.), the max I could possibly have downloaded in that time would have been 45GBs. I've checked my session history, and only my VDSL line number shows up so it's not that someone else is using my account either.
I expect that I must have used about 35GBs in that time, but it's almost like they doubled it to make my data run out faster.
I noticed that last night, I doubt they are upping the cap again, maybe it's some lockdown data?
Same
I'm on a 200GB fat-pipe package but on an 8Mbps line. The max I should be getting on DL is about 3.6GB/hr.
On Tuesday (24-03) it reflects as 56GB of DL between 00:00 and 06:00.
I think that might be the same time it happened to me.
Only unfortunate thing for me is that my usage during that time isn't zero rated because it's a promo account.
That sucks. You should query it.
All those errors in 46 minutes?Yeah they are pretty good. You should be able to get 40Mbps VDSL.
All those errors in 46 minutes?
The FEC errors sure but all those CRC errors?Nah that is just copper. They were likely corrected errors anyways. They could be from anything like lightning, wind swing cables, moisture, distance, under performing filter.... I don't think it's something to worry about.
The FEC errors sure but all those CRC errors?
So my theory was right.
