Okay, I just got home and there is another Telkom bill waiting for me.
Weird, as I got one the other day!

Anyways, I open it up and bam, its a bill for R1692!
It's the normal layout for a Telkom bill but at the top it says "Telkom BIS" and "Event for Account Adjustment" and yeah.

That's all it says for the bill.
It's for May '08.

I did, according to SAIX.net 127GB of traffic, minus 30GB of cause because I have a 3GB account, so if you do the math, it comes to R2400±, why I'm getting this, I don't know :(

You guys think this is for 'over' local usage?
Because seriously, I've checked this bill from top to bottom and it says NOTHING about what it actually is for except for "Event for Account Adjustment" which is R1484.59 ex vat.

Best thing to do is..........call Telkom tomorrow to find out what it is ;-)
 
If I log into my Telkom Online bill thingy, it says R 665.91.

Where the hell this other bill comes from, I don't know :(

Is that Telkom Bill which is online updated? Does it show a date past the one the printed invoice?

Could be that it is an error (the printed one), or that Telkom Online Bill is not updated.

go into your nearest telkom shop and ask them whats it all about

phoning is like talking to a brick wall

I'm going to call them at 9:30am, by that time, they've had their coffee and are 'hopefully' awake :)

9:15am I'm listening to this gawd awful tune... I've spoken to no one yet.
9:16am I hear this "for your covience..." part of the call and I'm thinking, "for my convienece, I wish you'd answer the fscking phone!!!!!!!!!!" :D
9:17am I hang up... I'm going to get a headset... ;)
9:19am I'm ready to try this again ;)
9:26am I got thru, speaking to Tokozele, let's see how this goes...

This is sad gdiza...not only aren't they going to give us better pricing but they're charging us for going over our mickey mouse caps
I'm dying to know how they got to that amount though...
 
My friend also got a bill, his bill is R1400

I'm sure alot of people are going to get bills in the next week or so.

I was trying so hard to save up for driving lessons and a deposit on a car, here goes all my savings... up in smoke! FARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
