oh sh*t... Time to run?

Sorry...not sure I understand the article really. So basically what the ANC wants to do is get more black people into the WC so that they can get more votes there? That is seriously fcked up if I understand it correctly. Surely something like this will be stopped in the courts! Jirre...the ANC just never stops to amaze me with their fcked up thinking!

Don't the ANC know about the milnerton line - Cape point is gonna fall into the sea - and black people don't swim well :D

Think you still don't understand the article.

Why is everyone only concerned about coloureds of the WC? Don't the many black people of Limpopo matter? They are also in over supply and would have to move. :D

Why is everyone concerned about the people of South Africa? Don't the many people in Sudan, Mexico and Tajikistan matter?

Dumbass.

How would you interpret the proposed amendments?
See JB's response. The majority black provinces would be just as affected. And let's face it anything resembling the group areas act will be promptly challenged in the courts.

Well, this is good news for me here in gauteng, but this really shouldn't be like this. This will force the over supply of people outside of their respective provinces.

But then again I don't know how to address allot of the ills in our country.

Major Fail - Relocation of people, to suit demographics - :wtf:

It resembles the group areas act , using employment statistics based on racial figures, to force relocation, utilising the Employment Equity Act and the national EAP profile as rule of law.

It interfere's with the concept of the right to live where you choose. Freedom of movement and residence as well as freedom of trade, occupation and profession.

"What it means in essence is that irrespective of factors such as local demography and skilled employee shortages, an employer will have to comply with the national EAP profile and will not be able to make any appointment that falls outside this,"

This is the most important point, as it clearly shows that businesses will now have to alter their employment demographics to reflect the national EAP profile.

Leading to massive layoffs , across the board for white, coloured and indian staff.
