OK, time's up, iBurst.......

They did the same to me on Friday, and asked me to download DrTCP so long, and arranged to call me Saturday morning.

I'm still waiting. And now they don't reply to any messages.

Peter (hope name is correct) from iBurst called me and said a technician will call me to came out and sort out my problem.

Technician were here last night speed before technician a few days ago http://www.speedtest.net/result/1605727447.png and the speed today http://www.speedtest.net/result/1611457621.png. Technician discovered my cable to the antenna had a bad spot on it but not affecting my signal strength/quality. He tried a different antenna/cable/modem/directions and got the same crappy speeds that I got. He said this is probably a crappy area as I'm higher than most towers and the towers in the area are overloaded.

Please iBurst sort out the towers here and/or put up more towers in the area.

As a direct result of the recent connectivity and speed issues, my director has instructed me to cancel all the company's iburst accounts - there are 3 accounts, for users like myself who can work from home (after hours :( ). There was no disagreement from me. All combined, there's probably 30-35 gigs of data on the accounts that's not going to get used because the service is just too crap.
Cell C here we come...

Most iBurst employees have a modem at home and are part of the people who regularly test and make sure that things are working. If not it is escalated. (I personally use a 2 Mb/s at home in 4ways and it hasn't let me down).

However, should you have a problem with performance in your area please PM iBurst and Mel will assist with having your signal optimized.

Thats not good Chicken Boo :(

iBurst, how can you afford to lose business like this from other companies and be calm about it? Did you guys look into their issue?

I am shocked.

Ronald, I was raving about getting above 2Mbps plenty times before on this forum. Go look at my posts in the download speed section, there are loads of my Speedtest results there. Performance was way above 100% with the 2Mbps modem regularly getting over 2Mbps with download speeds during the day or at night, so getting someone to do "signal optimization" in my case is a load of bollocks, sorry.

Like I have said a few times, modem is still in the exact same spot, PC hardware and software has not changed either and download speeds suck for the last month.

I have even moved the modem around as far as the power cord and cable will allow and it does not help at all, in fact the speeds get worse.

Why would download speeds go to a 10th of what they used to be if nothing else has changed including positioning of the modem?
It is definately not a problem on my side. It is an iBurst issue.

Ditto ... and sending a PM to @iBurst just gets ignored :-/

I have been having endless troubles with mine, here is a speedtest i did earlier

I cant watch live streams from twitch tv loading youtube videos take ages and then trying
to download something is like popping a vein, each time it say download interrupted.

If been trying to play starcraft 2 but the lag is unbereable, my signal is at 100% so how the hell
am i only getting those speeds

and the best of al iburst tells me i only have 200mb left on my uncapped account

Anyone been experiencing disappearing data lately? I'm still on the old uncapped packages, and I feel as though my Midnight to Morning data (which should be zero-rated with the 64K VAS) is subtracting from my Daytime cap. I could be mistaken, but has anyone else experienced this?

What a freaking joke (note the Ping time):

WHAT IS GOING ON? Just give us a plain and simple answer please.
It took me 7 tries to post this message as well.

We have chatted and decided to give iBurst one more week to sort this BS out. If by next week Sunday this speed issue is not resolved, we will cancel our contract and take a knock with losing money to pay the penalty fee for cancellation and take our money elsewhere we can at least get a decent download speed.

I feel your pain DsBalsak.
2Mbps modem and getting less than a tenth of those speeds where a month ago it was over 2Mbps easily............

Ronald, I will reply to Mel's PM tomorrow, as I am in no mood to do it now.

Ok, I can't believe that Iburst have not found out what is causing the issue by now, its been almost a month. The only logical conclusion I can draw from this is that they are well aware of what the issue is, they just cant fix it right now so they are playing dumb while they try buy time until the problem can be fixed.

According to them there is no problem. And all their loyal subscribers of the 2+ years have all of a sudden moved their modems or done something on their pcs. Coincidentally all subscribers did this round a bout the time that the new bigger and improved data packages were released.
This isn't even particular to a specific area.

Look at this: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1618660520.png

How am I supposed to work from home like this?
Now not only does my line not have the capacity to actually use my allocated Cap, but I have to drive into the office to work everyday, because Winston is faster than my iBurst.

There are no known issues that the techies are reporting. Please PM your UTID to íBurst and Mel will arrange to have it investigated.

It would also help and make troubleshooting faster if the location name in your profiles were also updated.
