old adsl router as extender/repeater

HI, Please let me know, how do i set up my adsl Zyxel router as an extender/repeater with my new TP link fibre router? I am not very techie:)

It may not have the option best way to see is if you factory reset it and then see if there is a quick setup option, sometimes it will say what mode you want to use it for. Look for AP mode or extender.

Normally ADSL routers don't have this option, also google Zyxel <model number> AP mode

If there is no app mode , could give it a static ip on your network and disable dhcp
 
Just run a network cable between both routers, disable the DHCP server on the older Zyxel one.
I probably wouldnt have the same SSID on them, they arent the type of devices that handle that well. I would just keep two SSID's and let the devices choose which has best signal.
