So I go a new phone but would like to use my current cellc sim which is just a normal straight up 100 topup. So I tried to cut it but the sim moved on the template and its a bit smaller so it won't fit in my note 2 bit still works on other phones.

Cellc store want to charge me R130....... Why do prepaid customers get free simswaps but I have to pay R130. This is really ridiculous.

Same time 8ta gave me a free micro sim to use on prepaid.....

You can buy a Micro-Sim at a Cell C store for R30. Dont Rica it. PM me the sim number and your details, and i will do a sim swap for you.

Yes werfie, you need a numberless sim to do a sim-swap. If a sim gets RICA'd it will generate a new number. - *DM*

Hey thanks will get that micro sim then. Why will the store charge me R130 then? I think its a bit excessive. This Richards Bay store is pretty useless anyways. No stock. High fees. Thank God I got my contract through cellc direct last time. :-)
 
I went to a cell c shop on Sunday and asked if they had prepaid nano sims. Was quoted R150!
 
I paid very little for a micro sim + swap at cell c. Probably R40 odd. Took less than 10 minutes. Was quite impressed actually.
 
It would be usefull if you post which franchise charges more and which less money.

Well Richards Bay branch charges R130 which is a disgrace..... Just getting my micro sim and hoping cellc rep can do the swap for me.

Now I can post another disgrace of a price..............

R140 for a prepaid microsim at cellc Richards Bay..... Went to Game and picked up a micro sim for only R0.99 WTF Cellc store? Please just close them down cause they just want to steal customers money!

I'm amazed Jesus didn't get it for free, especially this weekend :D
 
My 11 year old cellc sim was on the way out the door toward end of last year. It cost me 100+ at a cellc store, charged to my monthly bill. Considering I was charged 200 odd connection fee with the old sim the year before, the damn sim swap should have been free!
