One week left for Office 2003

office2007pro and windoze7 cost a pretty penny
 
The interface on Orifice 2007 gave me a headache, when I had the misfortune to use it. But, I am used to OpenOffice's layout, and I see there is an option to use the old toolbars (from Tweak), but I don't know what those looked like.

But, I must admit, I have never tried to open a spreadsheet with more than 200,000 lines, have trained the dictionary so no problems there, and have not had issues with crashes since I started using OpenOffice.

IMO, I find the interface of OpenOffice more intuitive that 2007, but have only used 2007 once or twice, and OpenOffice for years.

Am waiting for the interface change links from Tweak since I only used Office2k7 once and then refused point blank due to the ribbon and that stupid interface.

Then again, I mainlsy use *nix nowadays, including on my laptop/desktop so OpenOffice is the way and the light :)
 
Hmm I have Office 2k7 and Vista. Why Vista because I have a Core 2 Quad and over 4 gigs of ram.
 
Office 2003! I'm still using Office XP and Windows XP (was using Windows 2000 until 2 weeks ago). Just haven't seen a need to change. I've deployed Open Office on several machines, including my own (so I can support the staff machines), and it sucks, BIG TIME. The interface is different, but I could get used to that if the rest didn't suck so much. Auto-corrections are a mission to undo, locale defaults are set in stone (which would be fine, but they're WRONG), and it's just generally unintuitive. I'm sticking to what I've got. If anyone's got a few Office XP licences going cheap cheap (like R 200 each), PM me.
 
I was so keen for office '07 till actaly used it! The interface is soooo stuped you spend half your time looking for the damn functions, luckly a friend gave me this converter that lets '03 open DOCX files.... so I happly went back to the best office ever!......

Ye, office 07's interface is kark... I don't really use anything but word and even then all i need is type and save.

On the odd occasion when i require it's other functions, I have no idea where to start. Very out of place. Whoever was in charge of user-friendliness should be ashamed. He's life is probably in shambles aswell.
 
XP FTW!!!! Al het ek 4 gig ram en net 3 gig werk , dis beter as om k@K software (vista) te run!. Openoffice is nice want dis verniet, maar die feit dat dit seker 25 sekondes vat om groot spreadsheet oop te maak i.p.v. 2 sekondes met office 2007 is nie vir my baie goed nie :/
Ons sal maar wag vir windows 7 om te sien wat gebeur

I don't have an opinion on Windoze7 and will not try it unless someone is willing to sponsor the download.

Mmmm... Calling it Windoze in the same sentence you claim not to have an opinion on it somehow doesn't seem to compute....
