Tell us more about your Luxpower, is it a Hybrid? Does it have an external CT, and does it blend from various sources?I'm running a 5kVa Luxpower, and so far so good.
Yup let's hope. Saw they say it's going too be overcast tomorrow. But it's telling me it's supposed to be overcast nowWe can only hopeBatteries haven't fully charged so will make do overnight and in the overcast conditions forecast for tomorrow morning.

Phew, I've done the same a few times when solar hasn't filled the batteries.Mains came on about an hour ago so I am charging the batteries and running the house on mains until 19:00. Tomorrow should be a lighter use day so batteries should be fully charged by PV.
They are Hybrid, and blend sources, but with them the GEN port has one function. Only Genny allowed, it can be a bonus if it can be use as an additional power source like Wind Turbines or perhaps those that installed a grid tied system earlier on. Will need to get my hands on one to toy with. Nice display interface in my opinion compared to other inverters for someone that like checking out the display than an app.Tell us more about your Luxpower, is it a Hybrid? The inverter is the SNA 500 WPV, it has off-grid and hybrid work modes. It does not have an external CT (2 internal MPPTs) and can blend, but I haven't played with that too much yet.Tell us more about your Luxpower, is it a Hybrid? I'm sure they still good for many years to comeAnd so it happened, today was the first day I have noticed the PylonTech's SOH figure at 99%...

How much have you charged them and size of the bank. And so it happened, today was the first day I have noticed the PylonTech's SOH figure at 99%...

I've got 4 x US3000 and 1 x UP5000 batteries and SOH is at 97%. SOH did not go up when adding new batteries which was the UP5000 I added.
Total charge is sitting on 6.71MWh to date. 357 cycles if I take the full 18.8kWh battery bank value.
I think using a busbar would help SOH.
When the batteries are connected to each other, they all work at different loads. The ones on the outside work harder than the ones on the inside or something like that. Let me try find the YT vid.How so?

The BMS only top balances cells when its charging at the top of the voltage curve, it doesn't have any effect on discharge current except looking for over current.I would have thought that the BMS on the battery set to master would 'balance' the charge and discharge between the batteries as best as possible![]()
