Thanks for the advise guys. Luckily I still have 17 hours left to order. I'll have to do some more research on which mail forwarding service would be best to use but it looks like I'll be going for Stackry

Comes with a US charger that you can use with an universal adapter.

NYbox is k@K with customer service, rather use another drop ship company, lots of recommendations here.

Ive had my phone for a few days now. Its very comparable to the LG G3. Im loving it!

I think we should ask @RPM to merge this with the other One Plus thread, so we can have one official One Plus One thread. What do you guys think?

Countdown: 23 days till I get mine :D

Just made payment of R4224.41 ($349 + $14.34)

Sent to a friend in the US who will then forward it to me

What will be the best and cheapest courier option to SA?

New update for the OnePlus One.

http://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_one_update_brings_raw_format_new_audio_codecs-news-9862.php

Notable upgrades in this firmware are the added RAW format in the Camera app, expanded audio codec playback capabilities, better battery life and ANT+ support. The battery life also got a boost, while quite a few bugs got squashed.
Here is the official complete change log of CM 11S 38R firmware for OnePlus One:
Improves the responsiveness of the touchscreen.
A new and very cool lockscreen.
Ability to take photos in RAW format.
Enhanced audio capabilities (24 bit, 96/192khz—flac/alac/wav files without resampling).
ANT+ support.
Added method for users to report bugs directly to Cyanogen.
Added pause button during video recording.
Improved battery life.
And these are the bug fixes coming as part of the 11S 38R update:
Fixed issues with camera exposure compensation stuck in ‘auto’.
Fixed issues with ‘4G Preferred’ option not connecting to 3G data.
Fixed issues with delay in torch activation.
Fixed issues with unresponsive screen requiring reboot.
Fixed issues with static in speaker when changing volume while headset plugged in.
Fixed issues with rotation not triggering when rotated slowly.
Fixed issues with Quiet Hours / system UI causing battery drain on last day of month.
Fixed issues with camera not starting when LED torch is already on.
Fixed issues with Bluetooth volume low on connection.

My oneplus arrived at stackry about an hour ago. Very impressed with them. I got an email from them telling me that my package had arrived even before usps updated their tracking information to say that it had been delivered. I was then able to label the package and attach a price. I just got an email now from Stackry saying that the package has been shipped to me already. So in less than an hour, they were able to get it out. I also got an email from them (stackry) beforehand to notify me that I should probably use fedEX due to the SA postal strikes, which was very useful. I therefore shipped it using FedEx priority and I eagerly await its arrival!

Let us know how much your total cost came to? Considering dropping my Note 3 and picking up one of these or the Nexus 6. Looking to see which is the best import method.

Should have done my research before I sent mine to NYbox, seems like it's around 2 guys or so, crap service. Nevertheless mine is on its way via ups as of yesterday. Declared it as a refurbished media player at $100 :) cost me $35 for the shipping

So, today marks one week since getting my OnePlus, and I thought I’d share my experience thus far....

I think think the most important thing to start off with is to say that this certainly does not feel like a $350 phone. The construction is sleek, and the phone feels solid. Even the packaging looks amazing, it certainly feels as if no expense was spared.

Size: Coming from a S4 the OnePlus is noticeably bigger. When I’m holding the phone in my right hand its hard to swipe the notification panel down with my thumb, and generally it requires two hands to operate. It doesn’t feel uncomfortable though. The phone is pretty slim, and the texture at the back gives you great grip on the device. The phone is too big to hold in one hand and multitask. For example: I went grocery shopping after gym (no pockets in my gym pants) and it was very uncomfortable to carry around.

Screen and Speed: This is one of the biggest surprises. The screen is simply magnificent. Very responsive and great colours. The resolution is simply mind blowing, especially when you view intricate webpages with fine lines etc and you zoom in. Speed wise this phone just flies. I ran a benchmark on Antutu and managed 46257, which is the top of the table. The 3gb ram gives you great multitasking ability, and even when you try to max out the phone out it doesn’t get hot like my S4 did. Everything just seems effortless.
One thing that does make me nervous is the fact that the screen is so close to the edge of the phone. I would hate to drop the phone as I just have a feeling that the screen will crack. I highly recommend getting a cover with the phone.

Battery life: I’ve been putting the phone through its paces, and even with heavy use I sit at around 50% after one full day of use. I’m sure when the novelty wears off Ill be able to go 2 days on a single cycle.

Camera: Haven’t really been able to test. Took a few pics here and there. Seems to look just fine.

Other thoughts: some people have been experiencing problems with the touchscreen etc. The new update supposedly fixed this. I didn’t have any problems to report about, think I might have been lucky. Another thing to note. The phone seems to have USB3 Connectivity when you connect it with the PC. This helps a great deal when you fill up the 64gb storage with media.

Closing: After having the phone for one week, I don’t think its enough time yet to give a full review. There are so many options and settings, it will take at least a month to test everything. From the time that I have spent with the phone Ive really been enjoying it. There aren’t really any complaints. I think its pretty much the best bang for the buck on the market. I would have paid at least a couple of grand extra if I had too.

Whats next Im going to attempt a root over the weekend, and flash the "clean" stock rom.
