OnePlus One - $300 killer Android phone

Big shout out to Bryn26 - got an invite, my 64GB OPO is traveling across America as we speak! Can't wait to get my hands on it...
 
Did anyone try ordering from aliexpress as someone suggested earlier?

I see you can get a 64GB version for around $420 with free shipping to South Africa... just wondering what customs gonna hit me with

Customs will charge 14% VAT and another 14% import duty.
 
on a R5500 purchase my import duties from the UK were R1400. so ya, i would average around R1k+- for it.
 
:( waiting for those import duties to hit me. My oneplus should be on its way later this week
 
How much did you declare the parcel for and who did you use to ship?

Stackry gives you the option of adding a value and description to the package. Not sure if it worked in my favor or if they ignored it.
 
I am using NYbox, so I don't think that'll be an option. Maybe I can ask them if they can do such a thing
 
I won't lie with Stackry you can tell them what to put on a package as you get it delivered. This brand new OPO is officially a "Refurb One Plus Multimedia Player" for $150 and my covers and glass screen protector cost like $3 :D

Didn't want to say it was a phone or anything in case Icasa gets involved. Knowing my luck
 
Not sure which ones you looking at but all in I got 1 x OPO, 1 x Diztronic case, 1 x Nillkin case(incl Screen Protector) and 1 x Orzly Glass Screen protector.
 
Im a little bit worried guys.

My package has been stuck in my NYbox inbox for 24h.

The item arrived, and I can see the picture of the package on the scale, but every time I try to "proceed with checkout" it gives me an error message "Operation failed due to following problems. Please review your information and try again. Please select at least one item for processing."

Ive tried to chat to the customer support but they told me to send an email, and "IT support" will get back to me.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

Did you select the items for processing before clicking to proceed?
