So the CM12 nightlies (which I'm still on, didn't see the point in changing to CM12S) have now moved over to CM12.1, (Android 5.1), making 12S old already. You can just almost never keep up, it's ridiculous :)

Serious? Have you given 12.1 a try? Is it stable?

I used MyUS twice for OPO's and had no issues. The costs were crap. $50 DHL shipping from the US, plus 14% VAT and another 14% duties.

It's cheaper to just buy a Z2 on the Orange store with almost identical hardware and flash Cyanogenmod on.

I had to factory reset to get CM 12.1 to work. Major schlep, but early impressions are positive at least. The animations are even fancier than 12, particularly in the Play Store. Hopefully battery life is at least as good.

Thanks. Guess I'll stay on the 12 nightly then.

I was somewhat infuriated when my device entered a boot loop and needed a factory reset, but it hasn't actually been a huge inconvenience. All my apps have their own backup features and are back to normal, and it's an opportunity to get rid of all the apps you hardly use.

Not to mention Android 5.1 is really nice. And you may as well be running the latest CM so that you can still update your firmware.
