Ongoing Palestinian terror attacks against Israel.

Israel is a fantastic place and unlike the old SA, it doesn't practice apartheid. It has to deal with ongoing violence since it was established. It has done very well against all odds.

And yet they won't allow Palestinians the right of return to the land that they fled/where evicted from in a time of war. Not sure how that is morally justifiable..

Back in the day when we fought the apartheid Regime with bricks against their guns the closed minded South African had a similar stance

point being what, that no action should be taken? Or do you have another point?

The ones that remained are Israeli citizens.

How is it morally justifiable that the Arab countries keep the palestinians AND their descendants in camps and dont let them integrate into society but they are kept as outcasts?

Haha, yes having your every move controlled by Isreal and dictated where you are allowed to live is totally not like Apartheid

The ones that remained are Israeli citizens.

You mean the ones that where lucky enough not to get evicted or brave enough to stay in the face of intimidation, why not allow them to return, what is the ethical justification for forcing people from their homes and simply not allowing them to return?

Agree, it's not justifiable, but the Arab countries are mosly dictatorships with poor human rights records, Isreal, we are told, is supposed to be the shining light in the region.

Exactly.
Israel has no control on what happens within Gaza - besides the fact that they supply them with tons of aid, water and electricity.
Their education, judiciary, police, education and laws are their own - nothing at all remotely similar to apartheid.
Yeah they can't enter Israel freely - erm because they are at war with Israel. By your logic Lebanon is an apartheid state because they don't allow access to Israelis.

Checkpoints in the westbank that indeed do restrict movement are a necessary evil because palestinians have a nasty habit of killing jews if left unchecked. But again this is not apartheid and is nothing like apartheid. The PA rule, educate and govern the Palestinians in accordance with the Oslo accords.

How do you write this stuff and actually not realize what you are saying?

The west bank is not Isreali territory, yet they setup check-points that restrict movement.

And to leave Palenstine you need the approval of Isreal, regardless of where you are going or what you are doing.

The Isreali's have opened compounds in the West bank, illegally, and now restrict movement because they say they are being attacked by Palestinians in the west bank.

That is the same as me creating a settlement in Zimbabwe and then restricting their movement because they have the "nasty habit" of killing the people in my settlement.

There is no logic there. It is completely outrageous.

And neither is it Palestinian. The Arabs rejected the 1947 UN partition of Palestine

Between 1948 - 1967 all the inhabitants were Jordanians.

Even Abbas - the leader of the PA, still holds a Jordanian passport.

Jordan lost the control of the area in 1967, it is now, at the best, disputed territory and will remain so until either:
A. An agreement is reached with the palestinians or B. Israel annexes it.

They won't annex it, then they would have to make all the Palestinians currently living their Israeli citizens.

Very unusual for a country 'at war' to be supplied with aid water and electricity by the country they are at war with no ?

You forgot the bit about them meting out violence and injustice, as well.

Stop illegally occupying other peoples' land, repressing the populace, and making it impossible for them to form a viable State?

The ones that remained are Israeli citizens.

It isn't. Do those Arab countries represent the bar to which Israel should be held, though?

Exactly.

You left out the bit about them controlling Gaza's borders, airspace and ports (through military force). Also the bit about their controlling their taxation and utilities.

Gaza is also still considered to be occupied by basically everyone except the Israeli government.

But then, Israel has a nasty habit of building illegal settlements, expelling Palestinians and killing them when they resist.

Terrorist disguised as journalist stabs soldier.

I'm sure the various press unions will be in an uproar about terrorist masquerading as journalists, meh....probably not.

A soldier was stabbed and moderately wounded in Kiryat Arba, near Hebron, on Friday afternoon.

The attack was filmed by the al-Quds TV network, which has Hamas affiliations. The attacker was killed. It soon emerged that he had been disguised as a cameraman, wearing a vest and carrying cameras.

Earlier in the day, an armored D9 bulldozer was hit by gunfire near the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces did not return fire.
A projectile was found in the bulldozer's windshield.

It's pretty standard victim blaming. They blame them for the occupation and for resisting the occupation.

So perhaps they aren't really 'at war' as is your reason for them not being able to enter Israel freely ?

They don't want to 'officially' be at war with Palestine because then they'd have to take responsibility for what that means - either annihilating them completely or formally taking over the whole region and subsuming the populace. That would mean they can't repress them and claim victim status any more, along with all the military and financial aid they get for it.

A Palestinian disguised as a photojournalist stabbed and moderately wounded an IDF soldier near the West Bank city of Hebron, police reported Friday.

The stabbing incident occurred at Zayit Junction, in the Kiryat Arba area. The terrorist was shot dead at the scene.

During the incident, the terrorist approached the soldier wearing a "press" flak jacket and carrying camera.

Magen David Adom paramedics said they evacuated a 20-year-old Israeli in moderate condition with a stab wound to his upper body. The soldier has been taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

Um, you would think that they would quickly realise that this "stabbing" tactic is not working out too well for them. :wtf:
You try to stab someone and you get shot with a bullet. Then you dead, and when you are dead you can't do stuff any more, at all.
