The Isreali's have opened compounds in the West bank, illegally, and now restrict movement because they say they are being attacked by Palestinians in the west bank.

That is the same as me creating a settlement in Zimbabwe and then restricting their movement because they have the "nasty habit" of killing the people in my settlement.

There is no logic there. It is completely outrageous.

The occupied sections of the west bank is to give a buffer between Israel and the west bank to prevent rockets being fired at Israel. The Palestinians only have themselves to blame... And the more they push Israel's buttons the further in they move in to increase the buffer. It's pretty ****ing simple. Stop attacking Israel and Palestine will be at peace. I don't know how ****ing hard that is to comprehend or understand...

It's nothing but terrorism. Simple as that. They don't want peace, they will keep on trying to milk sympathy from the rest of the world but the world can see their actions contributing to their suffering. This will never stop and no one will ever help. Either Israel or Palestine will win in the end after the opposition has been annihilated. My Money is on Israel to win that in the end.

If they wanted to annihilate Palestine they could have done so long ago. Much more fun to rather repress them and claim victim status and milk the foreign military and financial aid.

erm no, the PLO was established in 1964. the so called occupation has nothing to do with the conflict, it existed before 1967.

Not at all.

Israel and Palestine has not been at it for the last decade... This has been going on for a very long time.

It didn't start out as a land issue. It was about the Palestinians wanting to rule over the region. The State of Israel was introduced and accepted globally and with that they drew the borders. Tensions between the 2 have been going on prior to that and it was always about a show of force. The more Palestine pushed, the more land Israel took. If only the Palestinians accepted they were not the rulers of the area everything would have been rosy today.

Not that simple at all. Stop being disingenuous. You and I both know that even if the Israelis right now gave all of that territory back to the Palestinians today, that they would just carry on with the attacks on Israel tomorrow.
It's not about getting their land back, they have stated that they want to destroy Israel, and they won't stop for any other reason.

Well, ypu are making an assumption there. Even an attempt at giving back land might be motivation. But as I mentioned before, a ceasefire announcement is usually followed by a landgrab announcement.

Even their allies the US say it's 'unhelpful' . If they were honest about it they would actually say 'stop ****ing things up again'

Yes, it did. And it wasn't Palestine that pushed. Palestine isn't (and wasn't then either) a sovereign country with armed forces that even could push back. Those were other Arab states. They lost in the war they started, badly. Israel then punished Palestine for what other Arab states did, and continue to do so.

Does this request apply to the other side, too, or not? Is nuance only necessary when Israel's injustices are highlighted?

You and I both also know that if the rockets were to stop today the occupation and repression wouldn't end.

You mean when they demanded the right to arbitrarily send in their military and take over again if the whim took them? Yeah, can't believe they didn't go for it.

This is the key, the moral justification for what it happening to the Palestinians is based around lumping all the people of the region as "Arabs". "The Arabs attacked Israel, the Arabs have all these countries in the Middle East, Arabs are the ones refusing to help Arab refugees. The Arabs deserved to lose their land, they lost!"

EACH and EVERY land grab was the result of an attack on Israel.

Almost everyone wants peace - it's just a minority of militant extremists that don't want peace.
