Fatal stabbing at RT's Middle East office building in Tel Aviv

Two people have been killed and one more was wounded in an attack at the building in Tel Aviv, which houses RT’s local bureau. The stabber has been captured with slight injuries.
RT's Paula Slier who is in the building has confirmed the suspect’s detention. She said that police believe a second attacker could be on the loose.
Slier was in her sixth-floor office when a commotion was heard downstairs in a makeshift synagogue. In the first 15 minutes, chaos reigned throughout the Panorama building in the heart of Tel Aviv.

"Police and security forces arrived,” she said. “This is a large building, where about 400-500 people work. First it was unclear what happened to the stabber. Then we found one victim. We were there when the medics covered his body and took him away."
"We were praying, when suddenly a man keeled over,” an eyewitness told Slier. “Blood was spurting everywhere. We tried to force the door closed, and the stabber fled."
Slier added that all RT staff members are safe.


Emergency services said the stabber, who has been identified as a 36 year-old Palestinian from the town of Dura, near Hebron in the West Bank, escaped, leaving two victims on the floor, one of whom died immediately, with another suffering injuries.


The knife-wielder then assaulted another Israeli outside the complex, who later died. The assailant, a restaurant worker with no previous convictions according to security service Shin Bet, was then wrestled to the ground by a group of citizens, and taken into custody.
Police then began searching for a potential accomplice, with Slier and other building tenants being forced to barricade themselves in their offices. But eventually security services declared that the assailant acted alone.

In war-torn Gaza, three young brothers take on the responsibility of providing for their family.

Scores of children in matching uniforms pass by on the busy road in Gaza's Beit Lahia district, some chatting loudly, others singing songs and running ahead, taunting their friends to try to catch them.

Wissam keeps his eyes fixed on the ground as they pass. Barefoot and kneeling on the wasteland, he continues to pick up rubble with his three brothers. "I would love to go to school," the 11-year-old says meekly, "but for now I ask God to give me good work for today so I can help my family."

A few metres away, Wissam's brother, Jihad, leans against the family donkey, his head lowered. The seven-year-old seems exhausted.

"This is the work of death," says Abed, the oldest of the brothers, as he unloads another bucket of rubble on to the donkey cart.

The words he uses are laden with significance. It isn't only that the work they do is draining, but that the stones they pick are the remains of houses destroyed during Israel's last war on Gaza.

These are just kids. It just sucks that they are born in to something that is so hateful. Unfortunately, the cycle of hatred just breeds from this scenario.
Hell, they even named their one kid Jihad. This will never stop until one side has obliterated the other.

However, let us not forget that both sides are complicit in this war. It's just that one side is the bigger dog, yet the smaller dog keeps nipping at it's heels. What you see here is the aftermath of such provocation.

A Palestinian taxi driver tried to run over Israelis at the Kfar Adumim junction near Jerusalem. When he was unsuccessful, he got out of the taxi and tried to stab an Israeli driver.
Shmuel Shapira, 51, from Eilat, was lightly wounded in his hand and taken to the Hadassah Medical Center at Jerusalem's Mount Scopus for treatment. Another civilian who was on the scene shot the terrorist dead.

"I was at the hitchhiking stop picking up passengers, when all of a sudden I saw a big woman chasing after another woman wielding a knife. I veered to the right and ran into her," Mesika told Ynet.
Another civilian, who was driving behind Mesika and noticed what was happening, exited his car and opened fire at her, along with IDF troops who were on the scene, shooting her dead.

In the attack committed by the teenagers, two people were lightly wounded in the attack, an 80-year-old who suffered head wounds, and a 27-year-old wounded in his hand. The 80-year-old victim of the attack was later reported to be a Palestinian resident of Betlehem. The 27-year-old may have been wounded by a ricochet from a bullet.

Sorry, the video shows kids playing a game, not terrorists. The subject matter may be disturbing but I would say growing up under hostile occupation would do strange things to the psyche of any kid.

I watched a video last month. The narrator made a very profound point.

He said and I paraphrase "If Palestine puts down their arms, there will be peace in the region as Israel will also put down their arms. If Israel puts down their arms, there will be bloodshed as Palestine will attack Israel with everything they have."
