I am not defending the attacking of innocent people, where exactly did you pick that up from my post? Read before going on some emotional tirade.

Well, the 1967 borders have sort of emerged as the most feasible solution.

Your conflating Hamas with all Palestinians. The Palestinians don't have a "stated intention to destroy Israel". Plus the PLO (who were at the time the recognised representatives of the Palestinian people) did recognise Israel and their right to live in safety and security, in 1993 already. What did it get them? Nothing.

Maybe if Israel ends the occupation the occupied people would be more amenable to peace. They're literally and metaphorically blocking peace from happening.

Everyone except the Israeli government considers the occupation to be illegal.

You wanna know why kids are willing to get themselves killed? It's cuz an entire people get subjected to this bogus standard before they're entitled to having their human rights. And that would turn anyone into murderous savages.

No one handles being oppressed very well. The longer it happens, the angrier people get. The more they're subjugated by racists, the angrier they get.

So you can either admit this situation would provoke anyone into becoming murderous, or you can continue to delude yourself given your partisan politicophilia of Israel and the United States.

But I think the rest of us can see what's obvious because we don't have an ideological bias which favours either party. The UN calls the occupation illegal for good reason and any people occupied by a foreign power have the legal and natural right to resist that occupation. I really don't like the way things have turned out, but at this point I honestly don't see what other recourse the Palestinians have.

And if Israel truly believes that it is entitled to occupy foreign territory and subjugate another people, then that state really should hurry up and relegate itself to the pages of history just like all the other vile regimes out there.

It's like blaming a battered wife for murdering her husband after society stood by and did nothing for decades. At some point the assault becomes so aggravating that the person being assaulted will go to any lengths to see it end. And that's the point the Palestinians are at.

You can either understand that or not, but blaming the victim as you do will get you precisely nowhere.

Lest we forget, it was the General Assembly of the UN and its adoption of Resolution 181 that led to the 1947-1948 Civil War in Palestine, which was a precursor to the 1948 Arab Israeli war, which ended in the occupation of certain territory and led to the pathetic state of affairs we see in the area today.
So their policy is the foundation upon which all the current stupidity resides.

You know, if I found a genie in a bottle that could grant 3 wishes, one of them would definitely be that anyone who denounces the right of the Palestinians to resist the occupation in principle be forced to live as a Palestinian in the Occupied Territories for a month. I think it would clear up a lot. Fast.

By giving 33% of the population 56% of the land (and who only legally owned 7% of it), in addition to them ruling over 45% of the native population, it was a rotten plan for the native population from the start.
