South African online store shuts its doors

Online store Snatcher has closed down after more than eight years in business.

Owner Dirk van Greuning told MyBroadband the company went into voluntary liquidation at the end of August after suffering a series of setbacks.

Shame, these okes had rather bad luck near the end. Hope they can all find their feet after that.

I made a purchase on their site in July and requested a refund but they haven't communicated back to me at all. How do I reach Dirk van Greuning for a refund

Zasttra, what ever happened to them and those laptop screws I ordered?

Always just seemed to be a drop shipper

anyone whos dealt with google merchant/ads support will know a brick wall is more helpful. Terrible service, neverending loops of scripted replies without any concrete reasons.

but these guys had an unfortunate perfect storm, Temu/Shein competition, Google suspensions, staff pilferage, market conditions etc.

I've chatted to a few okes in online retail about this.

It's impossible not to. They say if you don't have a solid Google ads strategy, you just don't see any sales.

Google Shopping is apparently incredibly powerful.
Well its high risk and you screwed when there is a slight hiccup.

Rather this:
