There are relays in the bonnet near the brake booster, I think the fan can either be switched through the coolant temperature sensor or via the relays if you want some aircon, so the relays work mostly for aircon application so it's possible they might not be there on the non aircon models.Hi I cannot seem to find any relays for the radiator fan on my corsa lite 1.4. There is none under the bonnet near the brake booster or behind the glove compartment. Are they only running from fuses directly?
About the relays, are they missing or not?Thank you Champ
The reason I was looking for relays is because I get error code 77 on my opcom scanner which is "fan relay low voltage " and code 57 "idle control valve low voltage". I have cleaned and changed the idle valve, cleared the errors, cleaned the throttle but the errors still comes back. Any ideas or guidance will be appreciated

There is no relay or relay box on mine by the brake booster side I have checked everywhere, even traced the wires the go direct to ecu
Do you have an aircon? There is no relay or relay box on mine by the brake booster side I have checked everywhere, even traced the wires the go direct to ecu

No, pretty much dead standard model no extrasDo you have an aircon?
Yeah, as I said previously the relays could only be applicable to the model with the aircon, on yours the fan would be controlled by the coolant temperature sensor. There is no relay or relay box on mine by the brake booster side I have checked everywhere, even traced the wires the go direct

The car drives fine, the fan works fine. I'm only concerned that there is no relays and the ecu gives me low voltage error for the relays that is not there. Tested the coolant sensor as well and it works 100%Yeah, as I said previously the relays could only be applicable to the model with the aircon, on yours the fan would be controlled by the coolant temperature sensor.
Besides the errors on the diagnostics what issues are you having as far as the car operation is concerned? Fan not coming on or what?
Thanks for the reply. Mine does not have any relays it seems it runs direct on my coolant switch. I have stripped down all the kick panels left and right, took out the glove box, there is nothing there either as for the kick panels it's only the ecu and fuel pump relay on the righthand side and on the left is the ecu pin plugs. My engine light comes on and goes off when I'm driving after about 5 minutes. Sometimes a lot and other times it only comes on very little. It will be like for a second or two then it goes of other times it stays as long as about 7 seconds. But it doesn't seem to affect the carThe relays are in the dashboard or in the side panel next to the R/H footwell

It appears that the fan relay is behind the glove compartment

Hope this helps
