I'm curious... do they ever work? Where jealousy or insecurities dont ruin it? I dont think I'd ever be able to share someone I love. This must be a male fantasy, I've never met a woman thats open to the idea.

I really don't see the point of open relationships.

Women are very open to the idea, they just won't tell anyone, least of all their boyfriends.

I know people fantasise, but this is different. If I ever hear that suggestion from her it would be such a blow to me the relationship will probably be over. Just knowing that she has these thoughts will cause trust issues because now she may act upon it and clearly we are on different wavelengths when it comes to these things. Also, now I know I am not enough for her.

Nope, can't see that I will handle that very well.

anyone can be open to the idea. i became overly attached to my wife because she was against the idea, and look where she is now(gone). i suggested that you will find the one person you keep coming back to willingly, instead of making a pact and becoming bored. you don't eat the same food everyday, or listen to the same song or pla ythe same game, why would you want to connect emotionally with only one person?

Wow - won't work with me ...

I'm way too jealous :/

Been in 2 so far, one when I was 15 (yes 15, did not work the girl broke my virginity and I was madly in love with her).

The other one was successful until my first ever threesome got cut short by getting caught by a stepdad.

Not sure how old I was then, probably 17 or 18.

Been there done that, had it's benefits and disadvantages. Caveat is you must be VERY secure, jealousy is a relationship destroyer

Ha ha. True, but that's not really an open relationship is it?

ever heard that part of the song, lady on the street but a freak in the bed ?

Nope, what song is that. And are you saying women who are not into open relationships cannot be freaks in bed?

Are you willing to share your gf with another guy? Or are you already... :p
