If you are on a legacy account, your line speed will remain the same, those on 10meg will be bumped to 25meg, as openserve no longer offer less than 25meg.Afrihost have indicated they're keeping their fees unchanged.
Not true, I am not being upgraded, I am stuck on the 8meg speed, spent 1 hour on the phone and was disappointed in what was being explained...Our pricing remains unchanged but the speeds will change for new and existing clients.
If you decide to downgrade you can have the same speed for less or if you leave it as is you pay the same amount for more speed.![]()

I really don't get the logic of Afrihost, but anyway, the attitude of the staff, they need training in how to deal with conflict, and upset clients, they should stop taking it personally, and learn that clients are in a crisis of sorts... There is none of this sensitive training done, the staff are rude and refuse to do the responsible thing...Very unprofessional!Yes our legacy packages like the 8Mbps will remain as is. These are legacy packages and we I mentioned pricing will remain unchanged I was referring to our catalogue pricing.
We have many client on different types of legacy packages and it would be complicated to list specific terms and changes for each legacy package hence legacy packages always stay the same.
Maybe their calls are not being QA'd, who knows.I really don't get the logic of Afrihost, but anyway, the attitude of the staff, they need training in how to deal with conflict, and upset clients, they should stop taking it personally, and learn that clients are in a crisis of sorts...
