OPENWEB - 5GB Service down?

My crapkom 1GB account has finished this morning.
Since then I have tried, on several occasions to connect on my OpenWeb 5GB account, to no avail. And, to top it all off, the 0861 number is either busy, or not answered! Very disappointed! No reply for the last 5 hours!

Any one getting the same problem with their 5GB account or service in general?

Oh, and the www.openwebadsl.co.za site is also down.

The site works fine for me.

Does your router "synchronise" and are you sure it's not a Telkom problem in your area?

Yes, the router synchs.
I am currently running on crapkom local, so no problems there.
What pisses me off is that customer service is non existant, today.
Neither by phone nor by contact form on website.

Is anyone else having problems with their account staying connected? My connection goes down on a reguler bases, cant download anything for more than 15min then i get disconnected and lose the download, any idea what could cause this?

It could be a line fault, where the copper is corroded, causing disconnections.

If you mail me on [email protected] with your ADSL username, I will investigate further for you.
