Hi all,
I signed up for Openweb's Home Uncapped product about 3 or 4 hours ago. Still not activated.....
Does anyone have an idea how long this process normally takes? :erm:

Wow. You struck it lucky... or the woman had a brain fart. Wait. Lady? Keoma sounds like a lady now?![]()
Maybe others can answer here but isn't there a cool down period at all for sign ups like these..?

LEAVE/ CANCEL ASAP!
Don't say "we" didn't warn you!
More like dodged a Low Orbit Ion Cannon
Makes me happy to see OpenSewer lose another victim. That ISP can go fall in to the Kimberly hole and then promptly get concrete poured on to it![]()

It seems my luck was short lived. After sending them the cancellation e-mail, the account "coincidentally" activated immediately afterwards.Something smells here.....
I fear I'm now locked in until the 31st of May. No matter, I still have my WA account which I can use. Will just have to suck it up and pay the R249 for May.![]()
Still waiting on a reply from their bloody cancellations department. Honestly, I feel like a complete twat for not actually reading up on them.
I won't consider moving anymore, TBH. The pricing and "Unshaped after hours" was what sold me with Openweb. I currently have a WebAfrica capped account, but I've noticed that torrents are abysmal during office hours and ease up at around 6pm - which shouldn't happen on a capped acc.

Can anyone in the know tell me why the negative OpenWeb MyBroadband threads do not show up easily in a Google search about them?
Seems like OpenWeb is a very common term on Google search so the algorithms throw up the other sites.
I signed up for Openweb
Wish you all the best OP, these idgits don't deserve a cent from anyone
