I am ranting and raving? Please.
Querying is one thing, but making up one conspiracy theory after another and sticking to it is quite another thing. I am calling it as you guys are showing me. Never let a fact get in the way of a good fantasy huh? Would you care to comment directly to the points I made in that post instead of accusing me of still more made-up nonsense?
Maybe if OpenWeb were to respond to our questions adequately and not with the same copy/paste/repeat routine that misses the point, we wouldn't have to resort to "making up one conspiracy theory after another"
Let me give you an example, ok? Let's put the account sharing debate aside and look at the other major issue..
OpenWeb advertise their product as having a dynamic shaping policy, right..?
Cableguy has said on numerous occasions that this is the case.. You still with me..?
But wait a moment, why is it that shaping has been applied at the precisely the same time every weekday?
Why is it that shaping eases off at the exact same time every weekday?
Why is it that there was no difference in shaping between a regular weekday and a public holiday?
How can there be no difference between weekday traffic and a public holiday traffic, and yet such a huge difference in weekend traffic?
So what is openweb's response?
A: We never said that we don't shape! (which dodges the main issue altogether)
B: We're all wrong. The shaping system is dynamic and doesn't kick in or ease off at specified times.. We're all just delusional.
C: Yup, you guessed it, there is no difference between regular weekday traffic and public holiday traffic because everyone is at home downloading. Apparently we don't download that on the weekend, hence the system is unshaped.
Now do you see the problem? Yes? The problem is that we're not blind! The standard rinse/repeat answer isn't helping. So what does Openweb do? They resort to plan B.... Ignore everything and everyone that disagrees.
How is that not suspicious?
