wish my exchange can handle 10mbps :(

hope that speed stays that way for you :)

tobad they don't have a 6/8 mbps offer on that business
 
If there's demand they would add it. Try emailing in and see if they can hook you up.
 
looking at the price 6/8 mbps will be around R800

thats alot,but full speed all the time,then again i work in the day so daytime speed dont bother me

but i will email them maby they will add it :)

Obviously isn't any demand for it.. according to their website, they still only have 198 accounts left. The exact same number they had the other day, when they launched it.

Unless... unless there are plenty accounts available and that number was just made up by their marketing team in order to mislead customers into hurrying for an account. Nah, OpenWeb wouldn't stoop that low!

Number is probably derived from the amount of bandwidth they set aside for this tier and they won't exactly find updating it every 1-2 account sales worth the effort.

I Flippin love this account so far and that's all that matters to me.

i wont mind getting that but i am in the cape aria

and u know what happens to MTN business in the cape aria (look at the afrihost thread for last month)

Whatever you choose, don't go Mweb, they are pure rubbish. Their first line and second line techs know jack, ask them a technical question and they are clueless (second line).
Also, if you choose a throttled account, you will remain so throttled that Gmail will not open on your phone (personal experience), and then these idiots expect you to stay that way for 30 days!!!!!

OW is pure rubbish too... I have complained numerous times about GMail not working during the day.
 
So I email [email protected] saying "Please cancel my account due to me having to move residence and please give me the exact date of cancellation" They replied within 1minute

They replied saying please email [email protected] and DIDNT tell me the exact date of cancel(a forward takes 2 seconds)
Anyway

I email [email protected]

That was this morning - Its now almost 3pm.. wtf is up.
 
im in cpt on after hours uncapped having terrible speed issues, have logged issue with openweb & got a different login but this morning again, terrible, so bad i couldnt even get into facebook, google wouldnt even open, reset my router & restarted pc but still nothing, utorrent is showing red thoughout & even my ports showing '!' with every port number, have no idea whats happening.

this is the first time in about 3 years that nothing works, hvae no flippen idea whats going on :(

After being with OW (Gold original) and leaving after my 6th account in as many months, I used connection after Plugg (it was cheaper) and got same performance after 5pm (UNSHAPED).

During the day I didn't notice any shaping with browsing, teamviewer etc, just p2p and nntp and sometimes http (but still very usable), but after 5pm that was full speed too.
