IS aswell, but nothing like OW, trust me :) I'm sure other people will back me up ;)
 
My OW "gamers" uncapped account has been a bit weird the last few days, general web browsing seems to be throttled down to almost zero, like I cannot even load google (or it takes ~5 minutes). Thing is though I'm still running downloads at up to ~3Mbps. If I pause or slow them it makes no difference to browsing.

It just doesn't really make sense to me to basically kill my browsing but let my downloads run along.. :confused:

Im having the same issue. Cant even log into gmail.... Luckily my afrihost account hasnt been cancelled yet so i can use that... joined openweb 4 days ago.. best life choice :/
 
i just got the 4mbps business unsharped uncap
and it runs good :D

i will keep u guys updated :)

just emailed them again to add my usage tracker and pasword manager forgot to add it in the 1st email :/

For now the Trial account performs well... and that's from Mikrotik Graphs. weekly.gif

Thursday I changed to another providers capped account and there is a visible drop in speed in downloads - as well as slower average upload speeds (to Dropbox) that has been running for a while now.

Max In: 3.58Mb; Average In: 709.35Kb; Current In: 9.18Kb;
Max Out: 521.37Kb; Average Out: 281.20Kb; Current Out: 2.08Kb;
 
My OW is starting to perform well again. keep it up IT guyz!

OpenWeb is THE worst company I have ever dealt with. Not the worst ISP, the worst company. Thank goodness almost 3 months clean.
 
I cannot disagree with you more

I have been very impressed with the service I received since joining.

It was a rocky start but the problem was my router in the end. They spent so much time helping me out.

Nahh, their service is good.

Hi All

I am on the Gamers King uncapped account.

I am experiencing issues with international http downloads and streaming (netflix) - downloads seem to be maxing out at around 160kB/s?

However, if I use a download manager for the same downloads, the speed of the downloads increase to +/- 400kB/s.

Is this normal behaviour?
