I cant even log on with my openweb account.. but my backup ISP account is working fine... Now i guess il have to wait till i get a reply from support :mad:

getting tired of this crap

These are very high!

Please can you drop me a PM with your ADSL details and a tracert to one of the servers. I would like to test this out for you and see if we can get to the bottom of it

Is it just me or is the Diablo 3 ping terrible getting 800-1000 ping the whole time but with other account constant 250-300

That being said - browsing is noticeably sluggish today...more so than it has been in months. Not a Telkom/exchange issue either.
Better now. Still...OW should maybe have a glance at their logs for the 5:30-7 timeframe today to see what went wrong.

Also...cable...please point me to the post where you were introduced...I kinda missed the transition between Beep & you for some reason.

Line upgrade != Package speed.

e.g.

10 meg telkom line with a 2 meg uncapped package will give you 2meg uncapped speeds unless the package is also upgraded to 10 meg.

your point?

I did upgrade my package. Telkom did upgrade lines... A difference would most likely have been seen.

Morning All and cableguy,

My speeds have also dropped drastically the last few days, gaming and downloads, even just browsing it's all at a crawl.
And for some reason I cannot access sterkinekor's website, I can access it using any other connection other than my openweb account (like 3G on the laptop or using the mobile data on my phone) but switch back to openweb and nothing.

Any thoughts?

for the last 3days my intenet been awesome,no probs at all

browsing are a fast no probs at all

canceled my account last month ,now at the end it starts to work like i want it to

but i am looking into getting a business account,so i can get unshaped 24/7 tobad OW's are so pricy :(

Me to Speed gone down from 400 to around 200.

Getting a constant 250 now.

Who is on support at the moment? I was told to use a trial account until Sunday while engineers conduct troubleshooting on my normal 10MB account which is giving me slow speeds, however, I now can only connect on my normal account? Who can assist me with this?

Hi Guys

This is just too bizarre!

Telkom has 're-created' my port, all was OK for a while but now i'm getting high pings again (+2000 ms This is just the 2nd hop of the tracert BTW). I have had this happen before and oddly it seemed to sort itself' out - but not this time.


Any further ideas?
