OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread (Pt2)

Hello, I'm having +-25Kb/s using Openweb Titan Uncapped 2MB.
I would just like to find out whether this doesn't happen if I am on capped adsl or would it also happen if I had capped adsl?
Or is it because many ppl are using adsl at home now?

For what its worth - I find any time after 17h00 is cool for me on the gamers package ....

If I leave my deluged daemon running during the day, but not downloading (still communicates with other peers) , will I still get shaped on all protocols or will it allow me to have an automated schedule and not be shaped on other protocols?

Hi, have you made any effort contacting mrBEEP to troubleshoot your specific problems? Just give him a shout (PM) and supply some info, trace-routes - ping_ICMP. He's always willing to help to fix your issues.

Hi, is it local or international? Did you run a LOCAL (SAIX) test depending on your OW package.
1st test a local speed test, then a int. test & compare the differential values. Run trace-routes and provide the info, either LOCAL or INT.

We are indeed not 'terrible'. You more than likely have a specific issue that needs to be investigated, be it on the line or account side

Speeds were slow the whole evening... It seems this has been happening a lot of late, and the response I always get is "I have logged a fault" and then nothing... Paying R1299 for a after hours account a month I expect a bit more... not to mention I have 4 accounts with you guys...
