Where can I find out when the most congestion occurs?
Bcos yesterday I was getting full speed at the same time. Unless there's way more downloading on Friday nights.

It depends on how busy the network is at any given time.

It's the end of the month and also financial year-end for the majority of companies. We should expect the net to be busy with workload. Lot's of overtime being worked this weekend.
 
No ... I've had this on a few month ends, and I've only been with OW for a little over a year.

The authentication just stops, and OW ends up giving me a new account.

It's almost like a batch of accounts are terminated and then they move you.

I know it is a weekend, but its been over a hour and no response.

If a client pays me in time, you'll see me just go straight to another ISP, despite the fact that I've had to pay for this month.
This has been by far, the WORST ISP I have ever seen, not even iBurst was this bad.

They always talk about "moving accounts" and "authentication issues resolved by moving account elsewhere" Doesn't that point to SERIOUS PROBLEMS with account management, and something is broken somewhere?
 
Correct. The lower end accounts have a lower priority, therefore they will receive less than higher end accounts

Hello, I have a question.
If the network is busy, do all accounts get throttled, or does it start with the cheap accounts (eg Titan Uncapped).

The network is completely unshaped currently.

No accounts, not even the cheaper ones are shaped.

Kindly PM me with your details so that I can test your account myself.

I cannot get to ANY international sites when connected with one of your uncapped accounts. This is right now (Sat 09:42)....

I phoned earlier, and the person who picked up the phone said "I will make some routing changed please turn off your modem for half an hour." BULL****!

I phoned back right now and I get "The subscriber can not receive messages at this time". SERIOUSLY???

If you have problem, why do we have to point it out? Then also, please put up network notices and / or phone messages as I am wasting my time and money by having to phone you.

From my few months at OpenWeb, I can say that I have never worked with such an incompetent bunch of people...

I just got a reply from Zelda, saying that it has been escalated. Waiting for a reply, will update here..
 
Pfft..... Nevermind, just signed up with Afrihost, getting full 2Meg speed, even right now in torrents.
