I'm actually watching my line gradually degrade. Its now gone down to 1.5mb. Thats a quarter of the trial speed.
How can I test a product if I'm only getting a quarter of it?

Trace route to Google.com and BBC.co.uk and post results here.
 
It seems like your line is syncing down.

You would need to contact Telkom on 10210 and have them test the line for you and stabilize it.

Openweb is seriously BAAAAD today.... overseas websites affected the most.

I am still not able to connect to my Dropbox.

Speeds are ALL OVER THE PLACE.. connection was down totally for 1/2 an hour a short while ago.
Can't connect (PPPOE Authentication)

This is the first time I have ever had internet this bad.... At this rate I am going to go and buy a data bundle voucher and rather carry on using my HSDPA stick.
 
Pumping like a beast here, could you test it with another ISP and post some feedback here.

Been doing that... Ad nauseum... its Openweb. I know better than to come and bitch here while meantime its my ADSL. Its not the ADSL.

I feel your pain. Mweb also had issues yesterday evening and today lunchtime with international so I couldn't use Netflix. I actually rented a movie last night from BlockBusters, how old skool am I :-P

Been watching cricket and Hulu no problems. Downloads running at full speed atm.

My account stopped authenticating when I woke up on the 1 March 2014. I submitted a ticket and as per previous occasions I received a new account. This has happened to me a few times in the last year or so that I have been an OW client.

I have tried out the various networks (routing) previously - [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] and the one that works best for me is the [email protected]. So, I asked if I was to be issued with a new account to please give me one with a [email protected].

I was issued with a [email protected], and the account is simply terrible. Youtube is buffering. I tested with a few torrents last night, and none of them finished downloading by this morning. Download speeds were around 50KB/s.

I was happy with the account that I had previously ...

Mr Beep, if I can't be issued with an account that worked similar to my previous one, then please let me know today as I would have to cancel. I sent a few emails to Leon last night and I see that some of these did not go through, simply because of a lost connection.

Please PM me as I did not get a message. The last message I got from Leon was at 16.38 yesterday, and no further reply or messages.

I've had lots of connectivity timeouts the whole afternoon and nothing has come through, hence the frustration. Please PM me.

Can anybody shed some light on what the difference between openweb.co.za and mynetwork.co.za accounts is?

The reason I'm asking is my old 1Mbps gamers king that was on openweb.co.za performed fine, but when I had my account upgraded to a 2Mbps gamers king account, the mynetwork.co.za account I received performs the same (some times worse) as the old 1Mbps account did.
