Got this User name and password authentication failed.

FACK!

on a side, trying to get this resolved just noticed they pulled their sms support number on the site. Probebly only gonna get a new user and pass in the morning.
 
Streamed two movies today in 1080 on my 4mb gamers king without buffering.

Best internet in a very long time since so many ppl jumped ship.

Apparently OW only resell IS etc products and thus don't need an office as most of their stuff are done by IS etc anyway. its called "ISP in a Box". They buy "X" amount of gigs per month from IS etc and manage it as they see fit, thus the endless types of specials and account types.

They only got a handful of employees - Leon, Zelda, Athol, Charmaine and Keoma.

They use various names - OpenISP, Openweb, Myopenweb etc.

Keoma would have started Openweb Radio but it did not materialized yet.

2nd day of no Openweb... my mood is reflected by the weather...

It was raining the whole weekend in Cape Town, and this morning I saw the sun peeking through the clouds. Light at the end of the tunnel. Good riddance and goodbye Openweb, Keoma, Keoma's attitude (which stinks) and your deceptive marketing and sales.

I know you're reading this, cowards.

As an aside, has anyone wondered about all of Dr. Wrights business ventures & CCs that he's set up but never finished through to completion? Hiding something from SARS? Magic 8 Ball says "quite likely."
 
Well this whole thing sucks... I barely had any issues with OpenWeb, my account always had no issues browsing, and when I did a quick mail would sort it our in a few minutes or a hour :/
I'll stick around till I get any big issues or they die or I find a solid ISP. Maybe Afrihost.

Well if you're happy with your product then leave it. Doing the same for the time being at our office.

I see you're in Cape Town, for this reason alone I wouldn't recommend Afrihost.

yeah I'm pretty happy so I'm definitely not planning on changing anytime soon.
I actually have 1GB free account from them and when I use it I don't have any issues. But I'll keep that in mind for some time in the future.
 
Changing next month, it's time. The Gold Uncapped Power account has not satisfied my needs with regards to gaming. Probably going to move to VOX capped with the uncapped bolt on.
