OpenWeb and OpenBrowse

Yes, quite a few people experienced email problems where their email sent to support never got through. I use gmail and I alway get a reply.

I am sure someone will respond tonight, if not by email then Mr.Beep (Openweb founder) himself will probably respond on this thread.

So they ended up activating my account and replying to me e-mail at 12:30. Within 8 hours? More like after EXACTLY 8 hours.
After 15 minutes of use all I can say is... daaaaaamn it's slow. 384kbps? I don't think so.

Read my reply, 8 business hours. So in actual fact your account was activated less than 1 business hour:o.

Speed was good before I went to bed and speed still ok now......

Same here, was brilliant last weekend, a big letdown this wknd.
I am also getting alot of "This site is prohibited by proxy." and
"Blocked, Access to the requested Port XX was not allowed. " errors while trying to download demos. It's like someone forgot to switch on Openbrowse this week.
Interested to know if anyone else is having to deal with this.:(

The VPN is desperately slow. I am getting less than 1kBps. Torrents go up to 15kBps, but normal international browsing through the VPN is horrible. International browsing on a normal account is fine, IS and Telkom alike, but this has been going on for almost two weeks (at least) and I won’t even come close to using up my 10 Gigs. WTF!!

Is openweb not overselling their account? My speed is very slow for the past 2 weeks. Takes forever to login to gmail.

hello,

I am also double minded now. I like the idea of openbrowse, but weekends are so slow, that opentime doesnt make any sense.. I feel extremely saddened with the service.

bye.

Sure hope it gets sorted ricky tick, missing out on a wknd of downloading.

Thought i was the only one experiencing this..... Have barely been able to use the account all month. Most likely dropping it next month.

Funny how MrBEEP only comments on the last guy's question. Completely ignores the previous posts on how the service has deteriorated.

In my experience, steer clear of openbrowse!

At least Mrbeep still comments. Many isps dont even have people on here!

My openbrowse is great. It started improving on Sunday and right now its back to its good old self!

Mrbeep FTW!!!

It was dead this morning. No proxy when I tried at home.

Cableguy sounds like MrBeep's spoof account! :D
Edit:I was just joking, but check his posts. They all relate to openweb being awesome. Sneaky, MrBeep, very sneaky...

Hey Brenden_E

I can assure you that I do not have available time to be making such posts about OpenWeb.

Maybe we have a fan?

Openbrowse features and pricing

Hey guys a bit confused here. Please help me out.

On the website OpenBrowse advertise the Ryder Special for R229/m, when I click on "Order Now" I choose Ryder option for R229/m then if I go to "Continue -> Step Two" there another section on additional Addons where I can choose "No Thanks" or the different line speeds.

Is Ryder special R229 + 512k openbrowse or do you have to select 512k for additional R139 with brings the total to R368.

I'm under the impression that Ryder Special includes 30g local + Openbrowse 512k for R229.

If this IS the case what additional service do I get if I choose 512k again on the second page.

Thank You
